The facade, if you'd want to flatter the front of the Cattle Market by calling it that, of the immense building to the northwest is the most distinguishing feature of Sticken Place.  Its huge gates allow for big streams of cattle merchants and potential customers to flow in and out every day.  Except today, apparently.  To the north, Chittling Street runs alongside the Cattle Market into the Shades while Humble Street runs off to the west.  A small shop is trying to defend itself against the smell to the northeast.

This is the eastern end of Humble Street.  Sticken Place begins just east of here while Humble Street leads west, towards Endless Street.  The large Cattle Market stretches out north of here.  There's plenty of activity, with carts moving along and pedestrians bustling about.  Sounds from both the Cattle Market and Sticken Place mix with the noises made by the people walking around.

You are near the eastern end of Humble Street, at the southern end of The Shades.  Humble Street continues east towards its end at Sticken Place and west towards Endless Street.  The large Cattle Market in Ankh-Morpork stretches out to the north and people entering and leaving it fill the street.  High, Morporkian houses cover the southern end of this cobbled street.

The street is cobbled and is bordered by high, genuine Morporkian houses.  Humble Street continues east and west while Cattle Market stretches out just north.  This part of the street is mostly filled with people walking in and out of the Cattle Market.  Some are leading animals around, no doubt hoping to make a sale.

This is Humble Street just south of the large Cattle Market.  The street continues east towards Sticken Place and west towards Endless Street.  The screams from bidders and animals in the Cattle Market can be heard clearly from here.  The road is somewhat shaded by the high houses that border one side of the street.

From here, three streets head off in different directions.  Humble Street continues east and west while the Shambles leads north towards its end at Cockbill Street, Pigsty Hill leads off southwest and Whopping Street is to the south.  The street is small and made of cobbles.  A few people are walking up and down the street, looking for every opportunity to steal a purse from a not-so-attentive victim.  A short distance east you can hear the loud noises of the Cattle Market in Ankh-Morpork.  The market also fills the air with a smell that is not-too-pleasant.
