  1. Suddenly, a rippling aura of luminescence engulfs your body with a searing blast of cold, followed quickly by a sense of weightlessness as you are pulled through a gaping rift hovering briefly in the air.

A large common green stretches out over most of the northeastern section of the tier.  The grassy area is an excellent spot for athletic activities, for a meal on the soft grass, or contemplating the sky above.  Chadatru's temple lies to the south.  A narrow path winds under a row of pine trees on the western border of the field.
  5. You also see a bucket of viscous gloop.
  6. Also here: Maelstrom Chriztopher and Councillor Aaoskar who is in a globe of blue fire.
  7. Obvious paths: east.

  9. Whether with your will or against it, Aaoskar has summoned you here.  Already you can sense the chilling energy building quickly, hungrily seeking to pull you back within the confines of the rift which brought you and hopefully return you safely to where you were only moments before.

Recent patches of soft grey stucco mottle the Carillon garden wall.  Nearby, threads of people weave into knots, then unravel, as quick words of business or perhaps simple greetings are exchanged.  Two stone dolphins flank the broad library steps where they watch over lounging drunks and patrons pursuing diversion.
