  1. Unobtrusive and tucked away this small clearing rests in the fulcrum of seasons, to each the cardinal directions a season brings it weight to bear. To the north Winter blankets the land with snow and frost. Stands of ash, pine, and alder bear leafs of brilliant white ice along their branches. To the east Spring blooms, new growth and vibrant grass mark the landscape as flowers of every colour display their wares to buzzing bees, that zip drunkenly around. To the south Summer blazes, golden grass rolls in waves under a steady summer breeze. insects drone and sweet bird song filters through the skies. The air is warm and full of a sense of timeless days. To the west Autumn is patient, the ground is covered in a myriad of leafs, bright yellows, sullen reds, brittle browns as greens struggle to maintain their dominion. The smell of apples wafts through the air and trees grow thin as they prepare to hibernate until the caress of sun wakes them from their slumber.
