Rackspace Cloud Files Explorer for Zendesk

  3. INSTRUCTIONS:

  5. 1) Login to your Zendesk account and navigate to Accounts > Widgets
  6. 2) Click "Add widget"
  7. 3) Select Custom Widget
  8. 4) Type any title you wish, eg. Cloud Files
  9. 5) Under Availability Check the Agents box only
  10. 6) Paste the following into the Content textarea:

  14. 7) Select "Create Widget" from the drop down and click Submit.
  15. 8) Navigate to one of your Zendesk pages once logged in and click "Edit
  16. widgets on this page" in the right hand column
  17. 9) Activate the widget that you named in step 4
  18. 10) Each agent will need to paste in the api key from their Rackspace CloudFiles
  19. account page and click save. Immediately, the agent will be able to browse the CloudFiles containers.

  21. Note: the api key is saved encrypted on the agents workstation, hence
  22. they will need to place in the key if they delete their browser
  23. cookies.

  25. You will need to enter the following information the first time you set up your widget:
  26.  
  27.     * Username (The Username used to access the Rackspace control panel)
  28.     * API Key (You can find your API Key under "API Access" in "Your Account" menu in Rackspace control panel)
  29.     * Email address (For important updates and notifications)
