  1. Hello! This team is meant to be based around having Mega Absol as a the main sweeper and carry of this team.
  2.
  3. Absol @ Absolite
  4. Ability: Justified
  5. Shiny: Yes
  6. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  7. Jolly Nature
  8. - Superpower
  9. - Knock Off
  10. - Sucker Punch
  11. - Play Rough
  12.
  13. This is the win condition of focus of the team. This team wants Mega Absol to sweep the enemy with its 4 powerful moves. When looking at Absol's moveset these 4 moves seemed to me to be the strongest ones. I did not want to use Iron Tail as I didn't think I would run into main Fairy type pokemon on the UU ladder. X-Scicor is also an option, however, I decided just to have another pokemon to fight off grass types. The same reasoning is true for Zen Headbut and Stone Edge.
  14.
  15. Entei @ Choice Band
  16. Ability: Pressure
  17. Shiny: Yes
  18. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
  19. Adamant Nature
  20. - Sacred Fire
  21. - Flare Blitz
  22. - Extreme Speed
  23. - Stone Edge
  24.
  25. When deciding about my next pokemon I saw that Mega Absol would have a lot of trouble with defensive steel type pokemon and bulky water type pokemon. While Entei has trouble with water type pokemon, it can take care of the steel type pokemon that Mega Absol has trouble with. It is also good typing as Bug and Fairy, which are super effective against Mega Absol, are not very effective against Entei. Entei can also learn Stone Edge, which means I don't need to run it on Absol.
  26.
  27. Celebi @ Leftovers
  28. Ability: Natural Cure
  29. EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Spe
  30. Bold Nature
  31. IVs: 0 Atk
  32. - Psychic
  33. - Recover
  34. - Giga Drain
  35. - Nasty Plot
  36.
  37. Next I wanted a pokemon that could handle the water type pokemon that I would sure to encounter. Celebi stood out as it as a grass type and psychic type, so it can also handle the fighting type pokemon that I may encounter. I also decided that Celebi would be a better wall and I still had room for more special attack based pokemon. As for the nasty plot I just wanted to try it out as I don't have much experience in UU and I wasn't 100% about what else to run.
  38.
  39. Porygon2 @ Eviolite
  40. Ability: Trace
  41. EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD
  42. Calm Nature
  43. - Recover
  44. - Tri Attack
  45. - Ice Beam
  46. - Thunder Wave
  47.
  48. Next while making my team I noticed that I did not have an answer to the many special attackers that I might encounter(mainly thinking of Hydreigon). I wanted someone that could handle these pokemon as well as handle some of the dragon and flying type pokemon in the UU meta game(such as Salamence). Porygon2 came to mind while thinking of this. I choose to run T-wave because I realized that Mega Absol is slow relative to the pokemon that can OTK it and I would need a way to out speed and kill those pokemon(and kill scarfed pokes as well).
  49.

  51. Ability: Thick Fat
  52. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

  55. - Earthquake
  56. - Icicle Crash
  57. - Knock Off
  58.
  59. Azelf @ Focus Sash
  60. Ability: Levitate
  61. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  62. Naive Nature
  63. - Stealth Rock
  64. - Taunt
