Yuki was leaning down so she could try and wake up Callum without waking up anyone else in the building.  Kaori had been nice enough to manifest inside the door and let her in, and from there it was easy to climb up into the bed next to him.  Kneeling there and leaning over the sleeping giant to try and get him to wake up.
May 05 18:17:38 <LipstickThespian>	Which, at two in the morning, was an odd time and way to wake someone up to talk to them. Texting might have been preferred, but something in Yuki told her this was the right decision.  She couldn't sleep very well, after all, and wandering the halls of Sanctum this late at night gave her time to think. That thinking had culminated in her, still wearing her sleep shorts and shirt, trying to wake him up. Pushing his shoulder gently, and whispering "Call-um-chaaaan."
May 05 18:22:53 <Knave>	Eyes still close, the half-sleeping murmur of "Mom?" escapes and his heavy head heaves horizontally along the pillow towards the nudging hand on his shoulder. Groggy, sleepy eyes open and light on Yuki with slow confusion before they widen in disbelief, the instinctive hand already snapping around her wrist. His face runs through a gamut of incomprehension before it settles into a slightly annoyed puzzlement and he says, voice quiet more for just coming from sleep than for privacy's sake, "Yuki? What are you doing?"
May 05 18:26:18 <LipstickThespian>	As he woke, Yuki had a smile come on her face.  This lumbering giant still called out for his mom in his sleep, it was oddly endearing.  Something about how simple and kind he must be.  Then, her wrist is grabbed and she tenses up reflexively but doesn't try to pull away.  Like she could, really.  She keeps her own voice quiet as she answers him, a certain excitement mixed in with her innocence as she does. "I couldn't sleep, so I came to see you."
May 05 18:32:39 <Knave>	He blinks, and makes even that look like the monumental movement of a titan's muscles. Uncomfortably, he glances around the room, releasing her wrist and shifting his shoulders to rise up into an almost-sitting position. "Why didn't you knock?"
May 05 18:34:17 <LipstickThespian>	Yuki sat back so that he would have room to get up, even just a bit. She was, rather close actually. Kneeling on the small bed right against him, without a single shred of looking like she's done something wrong.  "I wanted to surprise you."
May 05 18:38:23 <Knave>	He runs his hand up his face and through his head, and snarks, "Mission accomplished, then." He slides out of the other side of the bed, rubbing at one eye, wearing pyjama bottoms but no shirt, and turns on the light. He slumps down into the chair, facing Yuki, looking more tired than anything else, which makes a change from his usual emotionless cipher of a face.
May 05 18:40:55 <LipstickThespian>	Yuki slides over as he slips out of the side of the bed and finds herself at the edge of it looking over at Callum.  Despite how casual flirt she usually dresses, her sleeping clothes are rather plain and feminine.  "You're tired, Callum-chan." She says through her smile, "you should lay back down while we talk. I mean, we don't have to talk either, we just lay together."
May 05 18:46:28 <Knave>	"I'm fine." He says, rubbing at his eyes with one hand, "We should talk." He rolls his shoulders and pulls at his face, then squares his view on Yuki, "I was going to come looking for you tomorrow anyway."
May 05 18:50:11 <LipstickThespian>	"Really?" Yuki brightens up and seems relieved to hear this, like it's a big excitement for her to have him come look for her. "Why were you going to look for me?"
May 05 18:51:47 <Knave>	"Because I need to talk about what you said to Cass." He says, tone level and unchanging, soft gaze on Yuki. Disappointed, not mad.
May 05 18:54:03 <LipstickThespian>	"She talked to you?" Yuki glances down at that, and seems to drop her excitement for a moment.
May 05 18:55:23 <Knave>	"Yes. We do that." He says, straight-faced and deadpan, "Do you want to explain yourself?"
May 05 18:57:57 <LipstickThespian>	"I didn't think it was fair, how quickly you two got together." Yuki says as she holds onto the bedding and draws some of it into her lap. "She always talks about how you two will break up, so I thought I would compete for you.  She's my friend, so I wanted to tell her, because even if I want to take you from her I should still be kind to her."

May 05 19:01:24 <Knave>	"Was hoping you'd have the answer on that one." Callum says, running a hand up to his temple and rubbing gently with an index finger.

May 05 19:04:47 <Knave>	"Are you calling Cass a liar?" Callum is still not, apparently, angry, but the edge of the tone is definitely a warning.
May 05 19:07:23 <LipstickThespian>	"No," Yuki says as her own tone dances between hopefulness and concern, "why would I speak badly about my friend?"
May 05 19:09:00 <Knave>	Callum gives Yuki a look in place of an answer, than carries on, "Well, either you admit you attacked Cass, or you're saying they lied about it. Which is it?"
May 05 19:12:10 <LipstickThespian>	Torn between lying herself, or pinning it all on Cass? Yuki just glances down and slumps a little.
May 05 19:14:43 <Knave>	"Yuki, this isn't okay." Callum says softly, then pinches the bridge of his nose while he thinks of what else he can say, "I need you to start by telling me the truth."

May 05 19:19:24 <LipstickThespian>	"I'm not going to say anything," Yuki says as she fidgets, "I don't want you to think that I would speak carelessly about others."
May 05 19:22:54 <Knave>	"Well right now I think you insulted my partner and then attacked them." The edge comes out more, more fed-up with Yuki's evasiveness than anything, "And you don't want to explain that?"
May 05 19:24:30 <LipstickThespian>	"I'm not like Cass-chan," Yuki says defensively as she matches the edge that is rising from him. "I don't promise to say nothing and then go tell others."
May 05 19:26:47 <Knave>	"You /attacked/ them with a /rifle/." He repeats. His glare has gotten quite intense.
May 05 19:28:02 <LipstickThespian>	"I was just defending myself!" Yuki responds as she shrinks further into his bed.
May 05 19:31:15 <Knave>	"By aiming a gun at them?" Callum rocks back slightly in his chair, then settles.
May 05 19:34:13 <LipstickThespian>	"She tazed me!" Yuki sits up and the blankets in her lap fall onto the floor, "I told her I wanted to take you from her. Then she tazed me, did she tell you that?"

He cracks his neck and leans forward, shaking off the tiredness so that his voice comes out clear and hard, "Look, let me make this simple for you. Our continued friendship depends on a couple of things. You need to get square in your head that Cass and me are dating and that's the way it is. I will not take kindly to any more trying to break us up. More importantly, you /do not/ endanger Cass. Ever. If I hear about you fighting with them again, it will not end well for you. Are we clear?"
May 05 19:42:04 <LipstickThespian>	There was a split second where, if Callum looked closely, he might see a piece of Yuki snap ever so gently.  Her mouth dropped open a little bit and she took in a sharp breath, as her eyes sat still looking at him and her frame seemed to shudder just a bit.  "Why are you taking her side?" She managed to ask as she slipped her legs off the edge of the bed and sat there looking back at him. "Why are you trying to push me away from you Callum-senpai?"

But the small half-Japanese girl doesn't seem poised to back off.  "Just because she sleeps with you and does dirty things doesn't make up for the fact that she's a horrible person!"

"I came to spend time with you, and you're treating me like I'm the bad person.  I'm not the one who uses her disability as a shield to abuse all those around her."
May 05 20:11:26 <Knave>	"Fine." Silently, he gets up again and pulls a folded white tee from his drawer, then pulls it on, "There's another bed I can use." He takes his phone from the table and taps at it as he moves to the door.
May 05 20:12:11 <LipstickThespian>	"No!" Yuki says in complaint as she tries to grab his arm to keep him from going.  "You can't go sleep with her!"

May 05 20:13:35 <LipstickThespian>	"We can sleep together," Yuki says with a bit of panic in her voice. "That's what you like, right Callum-chan? Girls who will sleep with someone with hesitation?  That will make you happy!"
May 05 20:16:26 <Knave>	"You can't have me, Yuki." Callum says, tired, "Not an option any more. You had your chance. I'm Cass's for as long as she wants me. Sorry. That's how it is."
May 05 20:18:57 <LipstickThespian>	"That's not true!" Yuki says in complaint, it seems her energy won't quit.  "You can leave her anytime, maybe, maybe she'll get sick and have to go to the hospital. Or an accident could happen and she gets sent away!"
May 05 20:19:47 <Antichthon>	Meanwhile, the door to the adjoining bathroom opened, revealing a shirtless Cass rubbing their eyes. They'd gotten Callum's text. "You got a thinkg for sl--" Cass grin fell. "The fuck is going on here?"
May 05 20:21:29 <Knave>	"Yuki decided sneaking into my room would be a great idea." Callum steps over to Cass, "Then said a bunch of less than nice things."
May 05 20:22:52 <LipstickThespian>	Yuki wanted to raise a complaint but, what exactly could she say that could convince Callum and not ruin her friendship with Cass? Instead, the girl standing in her sleep clothes, looked down like she'd been caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar.

With it's pink, and white, and gold designs and the glowing gem on top. "Alone," with that little addition she stared pointedly at Cass.

May 05 20:31:50 <Knave>	Callum doesn't even glance at the phone in his hand, just shakes his head at Yuki and her staff. "Don't fight me, Yuki. I'd hate to hurt you." He follows Cass and shuts the door.
