  136.
  137. So we can see an upward trend of experienced players as the seasons pass. This is good. But this also prevents returning raiders because we keep the same structure for teams. And with even more upcoming patches with level 60 content, players are hungry for more.
  138.
  139. So here is my proposed structure:
  140.
  141. Raid Team Alpha:
  142. Somewhat progression oriented. For those with plentiful raid experience who want to do something that's not Garuda (Extreme) or Turns 1 through 4. This team would be led by a more experienced player, and would go through the Binding Coil, Second Coil, and Final Coil. The use of unsynced parties can be used at the leader's discretion.
  143. If the players are at the appropriate iLvl and job level, this team can also work on the new Heavensward Extreme primals (Bismarck, Ravana).
  144.
  145. Raid Team Beta:
  146. Learning Oriented. With the sudden surge of new FC members, there will be many players with no experience that will want to try their hand at raiding. This team will be lead by a patient leader who will guide them through specific Extreme primals, to teach them the basics of raiding. I suggest that these be done without the unsynced parties option, as the higher gear levels will ruin the learning experience. Once the leader feels their team has adequately performed in these trials, they may move on to Binding Coil.
  147. RTB Primals: Hide
  148. Titan - Basic dodging, team cooperation (gaols), tank swaps
  149. Ifrit - Healer mechanics, tank swaps
  150. Leviathan - Raid awareness (jumps, slams)
  151. Ramuh - Tether mechanics, tank swaps
  152. Shiva - Raid awareness, team communication (weapon phases)
  153.
  154. Obviously this all depends on player signups, but I am confident that if there is a clear-cut distinction between the goals of the two seasonal teams, there will be more signups. Looking back at the Fall signup scare, many people were worried they didn't have what it took to raid. The recent additions to the FC will feel the same way for this upcoming season. In the same breath, many experienced players will groan at the thought of doing Garuda (Extreme) again for the hundredth time, and will not sign up under the old structure.
  155.
  156. If you have any questions or need clarifications please let me know.
