EXT. NEO LONDON. DUSK. ALLEYWAY.
A ragged looking hobo is crouched over the ground. He’s using a taped makeshift pen to draw a red symbol on the ground. Suddenly he’s kicked over by an unseen man’s boot and he falls to the ground as the boot pushes his head downwards. The barrel of his gun presses into the hobo’s head and the camera slowly lowers down past the ground as a bang is heard.
The camera pans down past the ground until the screen is black, the opening credits start to pan past, and each word white with the occasional red letter.
INT. CORRIDOR UNDERGROUND.
A young teen in grey clothes and a slightly taller girl stand in centre screen. The guy is clearly agitated and looking around, worried at being caught. The girl knocks three times on the door in front of her, pauses, then knocks a fourth time. Suddenly the door is flung open and two hands grab the pair by their collars and pull them through the door, slamming it behind them to leave an empty corridor.
          INT. RESISTANCE ROOM.
Inside is a large dark room, around the edge is blackness with the occasional person standing.
By the door is a small lamp, the two teens and the rebel leader. The rebel leader (Geiger) has a gun trained on Aki and a POV shot shows the gun pointed straight at the camera.

                              JESS
                    Geiger STOP! This is Aki, he’s just a kid who wants to help!

                              GEIGER
	What if he’s a spy!?

                              JESS
                    I can vouch for him, he’s with me you fucking maniac.
She calmly lowers his arm and he holsters it shaking.

                              GEIGER
                    I’m sorry man, you can’t be too careful, not with all the members we’ve lost recently.
He shakes Aki’s hand firmly.
                              JESS
                   Geiger’s our attack planner Aki, he’s
	the one who directs us.

                              AKI
                    You can direct me any way you want,
	I just want to see some colour.

          Geiger gives Jess a meaningful look and steps forward,
          holding out a backpack to Aki.

                              GEIGER
                    Take this and put it on. It’s full of paint cans.
	The plan is we pair off in twos see, we head up to the
	rooftops and take the paint out those bags and we paint
	the town red!
          He gets more and more agitated, his arms swinging around drastically as he talks.
                              GEIGER
                    We’ll teach the ants of this
                    city what colour means. We'll open
                    their eyes in one final act.

 Aki listens carefully as jess helps put the bag on his back.
                              GEIGER
                    Is that clear Aki?

          Aki slowly nods then looks to Jess.

                              AKI
                    So... we do this and everything
                    gets fixed?

          Jess laughs and ruffles Aki's hair.

                              JESS
                    Fuck no. It's a start but first of
                    all the we have to send the
                    message. The people will do the rest.

                              GEIGER
                    And then finally when the borders
                    open, our friends abroad can
                    bring supplies in to the sick, the
                    poor, the starving.
Geiger addresses the room.
                              GEIGER
                    Everyone move out, I want you all
                    in position by 7AM. Whatever
                    happens, whoever shoots you. I want
                    you in position. Remember. Colour
                    is POWER.

There are cheers from the darkness and Jess turns to Aki
                              JESS
                    You ready to make history.

                              AKI
                    I'm ready to make colour!


          Jess takes him by the hand and leads him out.

          INT. SERVICE STAIRWELL. EARLY MORNING.

          Jess exits a door with Aki in tow and looks up, they are on the middle
	of a spiral staircase and at the top is sunlight.
          From below a loud bang can be heard. Aki and Jess peer over
          the edge and see a gasmask peering up at them.

                              JESS
                    Shit! It’s them! Run Aki, RUN!

          Aki and Jess take off upward and a low shot of the stairs shows
          the same boots from earlier running up the stairs after them.

          EXT. NEO LONDON ROOFTOP. 6:55AM.

          They both burst out of a rooftop door and Jess slams it
          behind them as Aki falls to his knees, breathing hard. She
          slides the bolt on the door into place then grabs
          Aki, pulling him up and dragging towards the rooftop edge.

                              AKI
                    Ow, Jess you're hurting me.

                              JESS
                    We don't have any time, we have to
                    do it now.

          They get to the edge, teetering over and Jess pulls aki
          closer. A shot of the roof door shows it shake as
          something slams into it.

                              JESS
                    Do you trust me Aki.

                              AKI
                    W-wha-

                              JESS
                    We don't have much time, do you
                    trust me!?

          Aki seems to be fiddling with the bag.

                              AKI
                    Where’s the paint, all I see is metal and little beeping red lights in here?

                              JESS
                    Aki, answer me.

          Aki stops fiddling and looks at her.

                              AKI
                    I... yes.

          Jess smiles and hugs him close.

                              AKI
                    T-that's not paint in there
                    is it Jess?

                              JESS
                    No Aki, no it is not.

          The sound of the door slamming open is heard and a shot reveals
	the guard stepping through the doorway, he starts to fire.

                              JESS
                    Let's bring back the colour.

          The guard fires as Jess yanks Aki and herself, still
          embraced, over the edge of the roofto, this leads to a POV shot leadin over the roof.
	There is a click and a bang as it cuts to black.
          EXT. NEO LONDON STREET. MORNING.

          A man in a white suit and glasses kneels down and
          grimaces at a scuff mark on his shoe. He pulls out a
          white handkerchief and starts to rub at the mark when a dot
          of red drops onto the handkerchief and spreads quickly. his
          face looks puzzled and then another red dot hits his hand.
          he turns his and a closeup of his face shows wonder in his expression.
	Spatters of red start to hit his face as he looks up smiling.
