Before anyone comments/complains on this post, please read the entire story.

Also, staff, please don't delete this just because you don't like me/my faction. Be mature, please.

Also, if you're going to punish anyone for making/being involved in this post, please punish me. There's no reason to blame other members who simply told their side of the story.

We had a faction on HCTeams called "Virus", who then changed their name to "SoupSkidz" as a joke because the original clan changed their name. This made a lot of people angry, and me, being a simple member of the faction without any power, chose to ignore it.

The faction "OxiClean" somehow managed to get into our base - we had no idea how. After some research and contacting the staff, they glitched in by placing a nether portal in the nether and breaking a few blocks in our base. (I'm not exactly sure what happened, but this is just what I remember.) I was also informed that doing this was against the rules, but the staff were, for whatever reason, not doing anything about it. Oh well, doesn't matter, we didn't too much from it, just a few valuables that happened to be in the inventories of unsuspecting faction members.

A few days later, one of our faction members (Exzanity) was frozen for xraying and caught, and he then admitted and was given a 7-day temporary ban. It was strange that the staff members continued to suspect him however, as he was frozen several other times throughout the next week. (He bought an unban 5 days in, as EOTW was announced)

A day before EOTW (8/1/15), we decided to go cap Graveyard KOTH. On the way to the KOTH, which wasn't too far from our base, Exzanity was frozen yet again, for what appeared to be no apparent reason. We assumed it was xray again, which was odd, as he had been frozen 2-3 times for the same reason previously. A while later, while capping, it turns out he was banned permanently by LOLCreeper. He came in the TS and explained that they discovered that he had the Serenity client, and it said that the file was last updated at 11:40 PM the day before, and his server logs also said that he was on HCTeams at the same time on the same day. However, what the staff didn't realize, was that all version/resourcepack files are updated when you log into Minecraft. (This is according to Exzanity, don't quote me on this.) He wasn't using a client on MineHQ at any time, according to him. It was understandable, but it sucked that we lost a faction member.

In the process of capping KOTH, SecretionHD and another faction member (I can't remember his name) managed to get somebody in a hole, and ganged up on him. A few minutes after the kill, SecretionHD was frozen and called into TeamSpeak under suspicion of hacking. He left our channel, and we were all laughing about it, as we knew he was completely legit.

To our surprise, he was banned shortly after. We were surprised that the staff found anything, as he seemed legit. He came into the TS later and explained that he was banned for "lying to staff" because he told them the person he killed didn't lag out, as that would have spawned a player villager. We were pretty confused, and at this point, it honestly seemed like the staff simply wanted our whole faction gone.

Sure enough, during the rest of the KOTH, most of our members were banned. Some didn't want their names to be publicized, and I simply forgot who was involved with which incident, so I'll list them below:

- One was banned for TeamSpeak glitched and no sound was being output, the staff thought they were trolling and banned them

- One was banned for trying to appeal the other persons ban

- One was banned for having a right-click macro

- One was banned for having a mod with radar (Rei's minimap, but the radar was disabled)

- One was banned for not coming into TS because his OS didn't support it


There might have been more, I don't know. This is what Exzanity said on Skype (With some quick revisions by him/me/other faction members):

- Exzanity: banned for having the same time log as the time serenity client was last opened. (perm)

- SecretionHD: temp banned for lying to staff. (10h)

- (Name removed): right-click macro (not being used), unknown length

- (Name Removed): TeamSpeak wasn't working, banned for not talking (perm)

- (Name Removed): banned for radar that wasn't enabled (perm)

- (Name Removed): banned for not being able to come into TeamSpeak because he has a operating system that doesn't support that program (perm)

- (Name Removed): banned for trying to explain that (Name Removed) has Linux and cannot use teamspeak (10h)

After that chaos was over, we managed to cap KOTH and head home with our prize. Once we were safe and sound inside our base, we began to process what had just happened. We were angry that the playerbase + the staff in their entirety seemed to be after us for whatever reason, and so we did a little backtalking.

We questioned the staff's motives, did some shittalking, etc. Stuff that is common on HCTeams/other Hardcore Factions servers, and it wasn't anything too bad. People calling us randoms, et cetera.

Then this happened (read for yourself if you want, but I'll summarize it http://pastebin.com/Hc5EpVia - Thanks TabbyChat logs!) - I said I was going to move to Para HCF after EOTW because the staff "were a little less... eh...", which pretty clearly meant that I didn't agree with MineHQ's staff.

I could have logged off right there and brushed off the mean comments I was receiving "being a random" etc, but I decided to stay for whatever reason. If I had logged, I would not have been banned.

A minute or so later, Trigerrr said in chat: "4non, you like Para more, huh?"
I responded with: "Yes, in my opinion."
He told me to go play there.
I said I would after EOTW.
After that, I was banned for 10 hours.

I simply laughed, and shared this information with the rest of my faction.

I later went on TS and spoke to some mods/admins, and they said I was banned for trash talking. I didn't mention it, but it was odd that I was punished for that. I was being trash talked earlier by several popular members/donors/staff, and nothing was done about that. If I recall correctly, jhalt has done his fair share of trash talking in the past. I was confused.

Anyway, I continued asking about the rest of my faction members. They claimed I was "complaining about my ban" and that I was "changing the subject", and I just responded that I was simply interested in the reasoning behind the freezing/banning of all of our faction members.

They claimed that they were suspicious of us because they "caught" many of our faction members hacking. The only one that this would apply to would be Exzanity with xray/Serenity logs.

Some arguing went on, and at the end, I decided I was done with the staff at the moment. I said something on the lines of "If it's respect you want from your players, you may want to take a different approach" and left.

I went off for the night.

I woke up the next morning at like 4:30 PM, and saw a bunch of things about EOTW, how staff were helping people get into our base, etc. I didn't care, I was done with that.

I tried going on the server, but it turns out I was permanently blacklisted from the server.

I did a little research, and apparently MineHQ is blacklisted from being mentioned on Badlion for being "corrupt, having bad rep, etc" http://www.badlion.net/wiki/blacklisted-servers

Anyway, I'd just like to put this out there. I feel like this post will be removed (because staff are defensive), but whatever.

Also, a few things I might add:

- jhalt ddosed a member/told him to kill himself (google it)

- he then deleted a post that he made telling people that killing themselves is not to be taken as a joke and that its banned on hcteams
- minehq officially has more corruption issues than mcsg (and that's nearly impossible to top)

- minehq staff curse/joke crudely quite a bit while talking to their members, which is something that doesn't seem to be very mature of the staff.

- a staff member called one of our faction members retarded when we spoke to him about OxiClean glitching into our base
