08:52   RhettSarlin     you know, yes...only just now chiming in but that sounds great. suddenly it stops being the staff deciding who is the staff, but different groups dont get to just make a random push to get whoever they want on senior staff either....someone has to prove themselves in the position and not make a fool of themselves to go any higher

08:57   RhettSarlin     i really would let them serve that one term though - it's entirely possible for a person who normally acts like a dick to clean up their act when in a position of responsibility, so i would make sure not to pre-judge a person to be unfit. with the exception, of course, that if they get themselves banned then they really cant get elected

09:00   RhettSarlin     then taking the idea....i'd have 3 positions for it, and rather than only serving for 2 months, i'd make it so that they serve 6 months, with there being an election every 2 months to replace one of the positions. or if 6 is too much, then 3 months and an election every month. whatever.
