- Obviously north is alliance, south is horde... but the question is, how will both sides start and where? What do I mean by "how", well... a BG needs a way to start so we need a special system where you sign up for queue, if enough people signs up in the queue, the battleground will begin. The oppositing fractions will be teleported to their starting locations. This is when the "where" comes in, we can either start at default Blizzard locations or somewhere else.
- That've been established, next thing is how the battle is fought. Will there be bosses/npcs involved in the battle and how can they engage? How can the players achieve an objective to advance towards to the oppositing faction's main fortress and demolish it. I'll leave this to you to discuss with more people. My opinion is: NPC/Bosses should be in the battleground but implemented in different way, other than Blizzard's method so its much more interesting and unique.
- I'll start by expressing my idea how the battleground can be set up:
- Starting Locations: Blizz-Like (Default)
- Graveyards: Blizz-Like (Default)
- World PvP Rewards: Drop rate doubled in the BG, this is to encourage more interest in the battleground.
- Type of NPCs: World Boss, Boss, Elite, and Normal.
- Objective: Destroy the oppositing faction's main fortress
- -Sub Objective One: Destroy the (Not the fortress) barracks and its occupants.
- -Sub Objective Two: Destroy towers/bunkers.
- -Sub Objective Three: Kill/murder all primary leaders of the faction.
- -Sub Objective Four: The "magical wall" will disappear at the fortress after three of the above is accomplished, you must kill the General in the fortress to win the game.
- After all of the above is accomplished, the battleground is won.
- I'm thinking that the barrack should spawn several soldiers and those soldiers will be sent to attack the oppositing faction's remaining towers/bunkers/barracks/fortress. Maybe four normal npcs, two elites, one "captain"... something like that. Otherwise, after the barrack is destroyed, soldiers will start spawning at the fortress instead... with increased army size. 6 normal npcs, 3 elites, and an elite captain.
- We should also be able to "control" a resource location, which will help upgrade the "soldiers" with more hp/damage. For example, there is four locations - Irondeep Mine, Wildpaw Cavern, Iceking Cavern, and Coldtooth Mine. We could succeed this by copying blizzard's similar method of AV battleground with more twist and unique challenges.
- Why do you think we should implement this?
- -This way players has a sense of defense/offense cycle where they can prepare to defend/offend
- -This presents an interesting challenge, unforeseen in many servers, including blizzard.
- -This will also force the players to choose between PvP. PvE, or hybird. In fact, this will generate more interest in raiding for specific kind of armor for PvE gear. Thus, it is beneficial to generate this kind of PvP/PvE hybird in this custom BG

- intro event When alliance Players enter the Room two Horde undead mages will target a npc which will obv be a trigger invisible Npc that npc will then Have the spell Open portal as well as the npcs Casting a beam type aura onto the portal channeling , The portal spell is from m'uru encounter not to sure which spell you could use for the channeling thing, the portal will remain there untill Grom has fully appeared Once appeared Grom will yell Why have i been summoned to this place! The undead mages will reply Grom hellscream Sir we need you to Protect Alterac valley as our General has fallen and you are our only hope! .Grom will then reply Very well as you wish you are dismissed the npcs will then teleport back to uc Use teleport spell. The portal will then despawn Grom will not be targetable at this moment and will not attack the alliance players he will get into position and then say Now come challengers face your death!.

- There are a few more bosses in av that have to be done but i cant think of lore for them yet :) ill message ya when i can :)
