Why can't anyone figure out what Donald Trump is worth? A 2006 deposition from Donald Trump's lawsuit against Timothy O'Brien might provide an answer.  In 2006, Donald Trump sued writer Timothy O'Brien for libel because O'Brien had written that Trump's net worth was far less than the $4 billion to $6 billion that Trump was claiming at the time.

Then you have a year later, and the city is as hot as a pistol. Even months after that it was a different feeling. So yeah, even my own feelings affect my value to myself.

 

Question:  When you publicly state what you're worth, what do you base that number on?
