  1. Well, we are going to see at least A Infested Terran, namely Ethan Stewart. Since he is her consort, he is bound to play a role in Heart of the Swarm. That said, I would not expect many intelligent Terrans, if any beyond Stewart at all. It is already determined that only rare Terrans are actually genetically compatible with the Zerg.

  3. Even if she manages to get any besides Ethan Stewart, they are bound not to be much of a threat to her. Even Kerrigan realised that she would never be able to produce a Infested Terran quite like her. Plus, Stewart is no threat to her beacuse he is:
  4.
  5. - Madly in love with her
  6. - Slightly insane beacuse of keeping a psi screen on him for too long
  7. - Has no psionic powers to speak off (with the exception of those he might have gained due to infestation)
  8.
  9. That said, I have a strong suspicion we will see at least one new succesfully infested Terran in SC2. Namely, I suspect that dr. Ariel Hanson will suffer this fate since she shares a striking resemblance to one Annika Hansen from Star Trek: Voyager (they have a similar name, they look similar and Annika`s parents were scientists while Ariel is a scientist herself). Of course, it could be just a coincidence. But in any case, a new intelligent Infested Terran is very likely.

  11. It will also be interesting to see if any Mutates appear as part of Raynor`s Raiders. It is currently unknown if Alternity: StarCraft Edition is considered cannonical and Raynor`s biography on the official SC2 page makes no mention of him being a leader of the Alliance.
  12.
  13. EDIT: Here is another similarity between Ariel and Annika. Ariel works on a farming colony while Annika`s parents were Exobiologists a.k.a Astrobiologists.
