  17. >it's a program that throttles cpu usage for selected programs
  18. >open task manager and look at your baseline cpu usage and strangle any bad programs you have running
  19. >there are also oddball windows processes/services that kick on randomly, you should genocide your services and disable the living fuck out of everything nonessential. everything else you can just throttle with BES

  21. Other tips
  22. >turn on Windows aero, VRchat lags if there's another window overlapping it
  23. >overclock CPU, the usual bottleneck
  24. >you can run vrchat directly from the exe so steam isn't running
  25. ?for riftcucks, you can change the Oculus dashboard to compatibly "run as administrator" which prevents its UI from taking up even more of your precious CPU time
