- >b to activate the dynamic bones mod
- >0, shift-o to activate normal, extreme optimization mode respectively
- >install "Battle Encoder Shirase" or BES
- >it's a program that throttles cpu usage for selected programs
- >open task manager and look at your baseline cpu usage and strangle any bad programs you have running
- >there are also oddball windows processes/services that kick on randomly, you should genocide your services and disable the living fuck out of everything nonessential. everything else you can just throttle with BES
- Other tips
- >turn on Windows aero, VRchat lags if there's another window overlapping it
- >overclock CPU, the usual bottleneck
- >you can run vrchat directly from the exe so steam isn't running
- ?for riftcucks, you can change the Oculus dashboard to compatibly "run as administrator" which prevents its UI from taking up even more of your precious CPU time
