  1. It was but a dark and stormy night. Our glorious leader, bashdash4 was sitting in his chair, expecting someone… special, to arrive.
  2.
  3. "Good even, bashdash" said the unknown man, covered in the nights shadows. Visible in his hand is a briefcase, and one could just barely see the silver color on it.
  4.
  5. "You called me to deliver this briefcase to you. It's rather heavy, and I don't know what exactly is in it."
  6.
  7. "That is fine." says Bashdash, being as humble as he is. "I'm aware of what is in it, but it's classified. You, my friends, my agents…no one but me and the sender are to know what is in this."
  8.
  9. "You are dismissed."
  10.
  11. The unknown man leaves, slipping a piece of paper behind him for Bashdash to read. Looking carefully over the briefcase, all of its glossy sliver exterior and delicately scuplted lock, he pulls out his key he had been storing for a long time.
  12.
  13. Sticking the key into the cases keyhole, it opened up slowly. Inside was nothing. Nothing but a lonesome DVD with letters washed off. "te sk vo". Being barely decipherable, Bashdash puts the DVD into a computer. His Gentoo computer slowly reads the DVD, but after enough time, the title pops up.
  14.
  15. "STOLKREVIPSO2" it says. Bashdash knows exactly what this is. He was anticipating this ever since he learned of the prophet Stolken. Playing the video, it appeared the DVD had been damaged in transfer, as it was stuttering heavily. It didn't matter to him though, he got what he needed to know.
  16.
  17. What he got off of the DVD was information regarding Stolkens latest review. Even if it wasn't complete, what was there was imparative to keeping Bashdashia, his strong nation, alive. Attempting to dig deeper into the DVD to find any hidden information, one lonely text document was found.
  18.
  19. "bash.txt" Its size was a staggering one megabyte. Although something could have been embedded into this through the senders software, he had to open it up. He doesn't know the sender personally, only as a strange figure who showed up with the promises of important information, meaning that, if something were to go wrong with the DVD, he couldn't find the person responsible.
  20.
  21. Taking a risk with the file, he opens it up. It mostly consists of "wwwwww" repeated over and over again ad infinitum. "There has to be a deeper meaning to this document" bashdash thought. Using an advanced text editor to delete all instances of W, one message was imbedded in it. "meet me at sub station three tonight"
  22.
  23. Sub station three, the smallest of any part of the city. Few visitors come there due to a lack of anything interesting, it's a prefect meet up place for criminals. Bashdash can't risk getting himself injured over something like this. He contacts one of his most valuable agents, Radec.
  24.
  25. "Radec, I am in need of your assistance. I have recieved an important DVD from a sender-" Radec interrupts mid sentence. "Was this the DVD you had been expecting?"
  26.
  27. "...yes, it is indeed the one I had been expecting. Aside from the footage that I needed off of it, there was a text document stating to meet up at sub section three. This is all I can tell you about it." Bashdash holds a cigarette in one hand with a lighter in the other, striking a pose.
  28.
  29. "I need you to go and investigate there to see if it's safe, and what that Agent wants. If he asks for proof, show him your Bashbadge."
  30.
  31. "I will do exactly that sir. I'll be on my way soon..." "...and sir, you may want to check that card that was dropped on the ground." Radec departures.
  32.
  33. "Ah, yes, the card." Bashdash mutters to himself, staring at it. Its a sight to behold, with poor kerning and a bad choice of font. Nonetheless, it's still readable, but just barely. Investigating it further, a phone number along with a name was left on it. "509-974-2670 MERK"
  34.
  35. The name Merk seems familiar, and is most likely a shortening of something. What it is a shortening of remains unknown to Bashdash.
  36.
  37. Radec heads to sub station three, and once again, a shadowy figure is seen. He appears in a trench coat, with a yellow tie going down its shirt. "Hello. You most likely do not know my name or what I'm doing here, and I do not know what you are doing here. State your purpose."
  38.
  39. "I'm Radec, one of Bashdash's most valuable agents. I was sent here by his orders after he found a text document on a DVD telling him to meet up here. What is the meaning of all this?" Radec's tone was far from friendly, it was almost malicious, but it got his point across to the unknown figure.
  40.
  41. "Aha, so you know what is going on. Tell me, did he tell you about a... video file? A very important one, containing imparative information?"
  42.
  43. "Yes, but I was not filled in on the specifics of what it meant or what was in it, all I know is that you have some explaining to do."
  44.
  45. "The only people to know what it means are him and me. Tell him it's safe to come down here, and that no one is waiting to kill him, 'Radec'." The voice seemed almost familiar to Radec, as if it were someone he knew. "Are you who I think you are?"
  46.
  47. "And who are you thinking of? I don't believe you would be one to know, I've not seen you before." His tone was condescending and non-series, almost like this was just a game to him instead of a serious scenario.
  48.
  49. Radec jumped to a conclusion and said it out loud... "Maverick DeCero." ...and it was correct.
  50.
  51. "It appears you're right." The shadowy figure pulls his black outfit off to stop disgusing him in the shadows, revealing something of whom is not a guy, but a girl. "I am indeed Maveric DeCero, friends of TheStolken."
  52.
  53. TheStolken... it's all coming together now! Radec immediately calls Bashdash soon after exiting his current location.
  54.
  55. "Bashdash, I found out something important. That sender is actually Maverick DeCero. What exactly was that video you were sent...?" Static from the other side of the conversation.
  56.
  57. Bashdash responds. "...I'm coming to your location."
  58.
  59. Bashdash hurries to Radecs location to see the sender in person. Since the situation is confirmed safe, Bashdash has a lot of certainty that things will not go wrong. In a matter of minutes, he arrives and orders Radec to return as most information past this point is strictly confidential.
  60.
  61. Seeing the female figure standing, Bashdash initiates a conversation. "So, you were the sender of this disk I assume?" Forward and straight to the point, the person in question replies.
  62.
  63. "Indeed I am. But I am not the creator of it." A shocking reply for Bashdash, who was expecting to meet with the creator of it rather than the sender. Regardless, this is still a good lead to meeting the sender of the disk, Stolken. Despite his high up status in society as a prophet of Bashdashia, little information is known about him as he hides in a secret location.
  64.
  65. "Who are you, exactly? And what relations do you have to the sender of this disk, the Stolken?"
  66.
  67. "I am a friend of his. My name is Maverick DeCero, better know as Nashadara." 'So, that's what MERK meant' Bashdash thinks to himself. "I assume you were the one who left the card behind? The one with MERK and the number 509-974-2670?"
  68.
  69. "Of course, what did you think that could stand for? Or were you not aware of my existance before then~?" She had a very playful tone, similar to that of what she had earlier. "But you aren't here for me, correct? You're here for Stolken?"
  70.
  71. "You'll be happy to know I know that persons location. But, I demand something in return for showing you something as valuable as the Stolken." Bashdash gets a bad feeling about what she's going to say next. "I demand a sacrifice. I don't care if you hate the person you sacrifice, I just need someone to sacrifice into the Burbing Ranger's love pit."
  72.
  73. Despite having being unaware of what this "Burbing Rangers" is, Bashdash agrees. It may be unethical, but he has someone in mind. "I present you Psimaster, a criminal arrested on multiple accounts of bad posting." Bashdash teleports him from his prison cell to his current location.
  74.
  75. Psimaster didn't even say anything. He just stood there, nothing happening while Nashadara and Bashdash gave him odd looks. They eventually decided he wasn't going to say anything, and Bashdash sacrificed him. Nashadara sighed in relief. "What do you have to be glad about?" asks Bashdash. "Nothing in particular."
  76.
  77. "Now that you've sacrificed someone, I have no issue leading you to Stolken." Bashdash was filled with joyed over this. Finding out more about the sender and solving all of this, all interesting.
  78.
  79. Maverick leads Bashdash straight to the Stolken. Walking through the halls of the castle leading to the final room, it's filled with pictures of a character from Phantasy Star Online 2. Everywhere, just pictures of his "waifu" as they say.
  80.
  81. Bashdash, after a long trek through pictures of Stolkens waifu, arrives at his place at last... but something is off. Bashdash was expecting a male figure to be standing on a throne, but instead, it's a singular female persona, with long light-ish brown hair, fox ears, and a fox tail.
  82.
  83. "You arrived~" Says her.  He knows exactly who this is. It's Stolken, known in Bashdashia as Datavine. "I was waiting for you to come here. So, what do you need?" "I need the last portion of your review of Phantasy Star Online 2. What I have is helpful and needed, but I can't keep Bashdashia alive without knowing the conclusion." Bashdash says, extending his hand out afterwards, expecting to be handed the disk.
  84.
  85. "I have no qualms about giving you this disk, but you promise me you will not share this with anyone else." "Deal. Thank you for your time." Bashdash proceeds to walk out, waving his hand to Datavine while doing so. "Oh, and Bashdash... tell Nashadara that fox girls are better than black anime girls." She says with a chuckle.
  86.
  87. After exiting Datavines castle, Bashdash returns home and sees the conclusion to the review. Finally, Bashdashia is saved from crime and destruction for another 100 years.
