One of your highest priorities should always be to eliminate the enemy supports if you're capable of doing so. Mercy, Zenyatta, and Lucio can single-handedly change the outcome of an upcoming firefight with their Ultimate abilities

Defensive heroes like Symmetra, Junkrat, and Widowmaker are capable of placing traps throughout the battlefield. If you're aware of the enemy team having one of these heroes, check corners and obscure areas for traps that may be hidden. A well placed trap could be the difference between life or death for yourself or your teammates. While Widowmaker's spider trap blinks red and Symmetra's turrets turn red and let out a "targeting" noise, Junkrat's bear trap can be concealed quite easily and there is no warning other than the small spikes that you can see poking up from the ground.

Work with your teammates as much as you can and navigate the map together. Some heroes are very weak on their own (Support) and require teamwork to function properly. Several Ultimate abilities are even more devastating when combined with allies. Like... Mei-Cree for an example.

It's possible to kill yourself with some of your own abilities and ultimates in Overwatch, but not your allies. Try to keep that in mind before you try using a RIP-Tire ontop of yourself as Junkrat, or using a Pharah Barrage too close to the ground.

Numerous heroes are capable of "Rocket Jumping" for boosts. (Zarya, Pharah, Soldier 76, Bastion, Junkrat, ect.)

You can remap different abilites to other keys or buttons on your controller. A lot of players suggest remapping your jump key to something thats easily accessible (Left Trigger or a Bumper for controllers), to easily add unpredictablity to your hero in a firefight.

Symmetra, Reinhardt, and Winston have weapons that are capable of penetrating through shields that Reinhardt and Winston use to assist their allies.

The most threatening and dangerous heroes in Overwatch have louder footsteps compared to the less threatening heroes.

Use the Oversheet by /u/SpriteGuy_000 ! It is an amazing resource where you can find out a little more about Overwatch at your own leisure. And, it's easy to use. It links off to other documents and serves as a central hub for them all!

It's important to attempt to maintain a balance with the heroes and composition that you construct with your team. A team with too much of one role isn't bound to do well. As an example, a team with two or three snipers on Offense is going to struggle with actually creating an offense. Chances are it won't end up going that well because you'll be lacking in other areas, like a support, tank, or a lack of non-burst damage.

Ultimate ability announcements and catch phrases are usually different depending on whether they're Friendly or Enemy. An example: When an enemy D.VA uses her ultimate ability she announces it by saying "NERF THIS!", while a friendly D.VA ultimate will be announced as "Self Destruction Sequence Activated!".

Memorizing Health Pack locations is key to your success as an Overwatch player. Try and retain information when you play on maps about their layouts and the location of these health packs to keep yourself alive!

Overwatch doesn't have a radar system available like other First Person Shooters. However, heroes like Hanzo and Widowmaker can provide thermal/sonic tracking for their teams. Don't always assume that you're sneaking up on the enemy team if they have these heroes, as you may be walking straight into a trap!

You can change your hero whenever you die or when you're in your "spawn room", and it's actually a very core part of the game. Once you get comfortable with different heroes, it's important to switch to different heroes to counter different things the enemy team is doing.* Don't be complacent.* Remember to work with your team to change things when they're not working. Ask your teammates to try and find ways to fill voids or weaknesses that your team currently lacks.

If you're playing on Offense on Payload maps, the Payload will heal you if you stay close to it. It's possible to use this to your advantage throughout the entire map!

Overwatch matches are short and competitive. However, this doesn't mean that you should go out of your way to be rude to your teammates or allow your teammates to bully others. Try and mute or report players that are harassing your teammates, and suggest to your teammates that they do the same if it becomes a distraction. Blizzard's motto is "Play Nice; Play Fair", so try and do that yourself unless you want to become silenced!

Heroes that have placeable objects (Torbjorn, Symmetra, and Bastion in particular) are capable of setting up their defenses on the Payload. It's possible to form "Deathloads" where these heroes can team up with tanks like D.VA and Reinhardt to protect their defenses while the payload is still moving!

After reaching Player Level 23, you will always require 22,000 XP to obtain another Loot Box and advance to the next level.

Aim for the head. No, seriously. It seems silly, but it's something people forget sometimes when they're not playing "snipers". Headshots will do additional damage to players and can be crucial to performing better as some heroes like Tracer and Reaper.

Highlights are only saved until you close Overwatch, if you close the game you currently lose them forever!

Offense Heroes

McCree

Dead Eye (McCree's ultimate) has a channel time before it's active. You normally have a chance to react before he's capable of killing you immediately with it! (Also known to some as High Noon. His Announcement to the enemy team when he uses it!)

Dead Eye isn't capable of shooting through shields or the environment to one hit K.O.heroes that are properly concealed behind them.

Flashbang is capable of stunning a Genji using reflect, but only if you aim for his feet and away from his head and torso. Otherwise, you'll have it reflected right back at you!

Dead Eye will retain 50% of the duration if McCree "cancels" the ability before it occurs.

Dead Eye can still deal damage to targets if it's "used" before it's fully channeled or before the red skulls appear, but it will not be enough for lethal damage. It can still help weaken the enemy team for your allies if needed.

McCree is capable of using his Fan the Hammer attack twice in quick succession if he uses his Quick Draw ability. In close quarters, it's possible to score easy kills on opponents with this technique!

McCree has a slower reload time after using his Fan the Hammer ability, so it's important that you attempt to use your primary fire attack when possible as well. Keep in mind every primary fire attack you use will remove one bullet from his Fan the Hammer when the need arises to use it.

Dead Eye's charge time is based around how much HP enemy heroes currently have, so high HP heroes will be harder to kill with this Ultimate Ability. Lucio's ultimate can make it nearly impossible at times to use Dead Eye, so use it carefully!

McCree can throw his Flash Bang over Reinhardt's shield in close range and still manage to stun him if it's timed properly . It can be difficult to pull off, so don't be frustrated if you can't master it at first. (Thanks for the source, /u/Chiffonades !)

Avoid using your Flash Bang on targets that are currently immune from it’s effect. Effects that are immune to Flash Bang include Genji’s Deflect, D.VA’s absorption shield, Zarya’s Shield (or on her allies), target’s behind Reinhardt’s or Winston’s Shield, Reaper's Wraith Form, and Mei’s Ice Block.

Reaper

Reaper isn't invisible when he uses his Wraith form, but he is invulnerable for the duration. Reaper isn't capable of ending his Wraith form early, so position yourself safely for when it does end, or if you're against him, position yourself to deal with him when he exits.

Reaper is able to teleport long distances that only a few other heroes are capable of in Overwatch. It's very easy for him to reposition himself behind your team for a devastating ultimate!

Luckily, Reaper's Teleport is rather obnoxious and he tends to laugh ominously while doing so. If you notice any smoke clouds, it's not a bonfire, but instead prepare for two shotguns full of rage.

Reaper's Death Blossom can be interrupted by heroes that have stuns like McCree.

Reaper can pick up Health packs while he's in Wraith form. A simple trick to get some HP back when you really need it!

Reaper can consume souls of defeated enemy heroes to partially restore some of his HP.

Reaper has some of the highest close range damage in the game and that makes him one of the most destructive heroes to pick against enemy teams that have a lot of Tanks. Not only are they an easier target to hit, but you can shred through their large HP pools with ease. See ya later, Monkey .

Tracer

A Tracer that doesn't move is a dead Tracer. Tracer is one of the most mobile heroes in the game and constantly needs to move so that she isn't an easy target due to her small HP pool.

Tracer's Pulse Bomb can't go through shields from heroes like Winston and Reinhardt, avoid using this ability around these heroes unless you can stick them from behind!

Tracer can be a total pain to deal with when played well, but heroes like Torbjorn and McCree can make playing Tracer a lot more difficult. Hard to rewind when you take a flash bang to the face!

Tracer can use her rewind ability in several different ways. It can allow her to scout ahead without fear, it can allow her to regain her HP that she's lost recently, or to escape from dangerous situations or ultimates. Enemy Tracer places a pulse bomb on you? No problem, use Rewind!

Tracer can use her Dash ability in quick succession to travel across gaps on certain maps.

One of Tracer's primary assets to a team is how distracting she can be and how easily she can get behind enemy lines to attack support heroes and snipers. Try to attack other squishy targets and avoid getting into too many skirmishes with tanks.

Pharah

Pharah is currently the only Hero in the game who is capable of staying in the air for decent periods of time. Her closest rival is D.VA, but she can only remain in the air for seconds. If Pharah has control of the sky for her team, it’s important to try and take her out with heroes who can take advantage of the vulnerable position like Snipers, McCree, Zenyatta, and Soldier 76.

Pharah’s concussive blast can easily knock back heroes that are too close to the edge on maps, so they can plummet to their own deaths!

Pharah’s Ultimate Ability (Barrage) is one of the highest damaging abilities in the game. When Barrage is active, either take cover, or try and take her out while she is completely vulnerable if she’s not targeting you with it!

Pharah is easily capable of dealing with stationary heroes from far ranges, especially if she can land direct hits on them.

While Pharah can normally maintain control of the skies, she does have a limited amount of Fuel and eventually has to land. Use these moments to take her out more easily!

Genji

Genji’s Deflect can deflect any incoming projectiles. However, it cannot deflect incoming energy or electrical based attacks (Zarya, Winston, Symmetra, and Mei.).

Genji's Deflect can deflect Flashbang, but only if it's aimed near his head or torso, if McCree aims at Genji's feet, Genji will be stunned!

Genji is capable of climbing walls and double-jumping.

Genji’s Swift Strike can reposition him quickly or deal damage to an opponent. If Genji receives an assist or killing blow on a target, his Swift Strike is immediately refunded and taken off cooldown to be used again.

Genji’s Primary fire is better at dealing with targets at a range, or in close encounters where your opponent cannot move as much. While his secondary fire is better at dealing damage to multiple targets, or to deal with close range targets that are difficult to hit.

Genji’s Ultimate Ability (Dragonblade) can be incredibly deadly to squishy heroes, but struggles against targets with a lot of HP. However, it is considered a melee attack while active, and can damage targets through some shields (not Zarya's).

Genji can deflect some enemy ultimate abilities, including Zarya’s Graviton Surge and McCree's Deadeye. His deflect does come in handy against Torbjorn's Molten Core turret as well!

Soldier 76

Soldier 76 is the only hero in the game that can “sprint”.

Soldier 76’s Ultimate Ability (Tactical Visor) gives him “aim hacks” for the duration and can be empowered with Mercy’s Offensive Beam for additional damage. If you hear an enemy Soldier 76 activate this ability, take cover or shoot at him when his red visor is NOT looking towards you.

Soldier 76 is capable of dashing across some gaps on varying maps by using his Sprint Ability. He can combine it with small boosts from his Helix Rockets to boost jump himself to different ledges and locations.

Soldier 76’s Biotic Field only affects targets that are within its Line of Sight. If the small device is behind cover, you have to move there as well!

Soldier 76’s Helix Rockets is one of the most devastating abilities in the game, capable of dealing massive damage to other squishy targets.

Upon activation, Tactical Visor will automatically reload your weapon clip for you, ensuring that you don't have to waste a little extra time reloading before using your ultimate for maximum effectiveness.

Try using your Biotic Field before you use your ultimate, to give you some additional healing for when you're being fired upon by other enemies that you're not capable of attacking throughout the full duration of Tactical Visor.

Soldier 76 and Zarya are two non-support heroes capable of turning on Allied Health bars. It can make using his Biotic Field a lot easier, rather than just guessing!

Defense Heroes

Mei

Mei can "interrupt" Reaper's ultimate by placing an Ice Wall in front of him when he uses it. Turn Reaper's Die Die Die into Cry Cry Cry.

Mei can be an absolute nightmare for certain Tank heroes to deal with. It's hard to soak the damage for their team whenever they become statues!

While positioning your wall, if you press "e" again, you can place it in a straight line rather than side-ways. You can lift yourself and your teammates up easily with this technique, as well as blocking off exits for enemy heroes who are strafing in doorways trying to play Peek-A-Boo with you!

You can destroy your own Ice Wall after placing it if you press "E". Your teammates will thank you if you've made an accidental mistake.

To avoid annoying teammates, try to avoid using your Ice Wall in front of teammates, and instead try to put them behind the enemy teams. They'll back up into a wall and begin panicking when they realize they have nowhere else to run!

A traditional Mei combo (for maximum damage) involves freezing your target, using an icicle headshot, and then hitting them with a quick melee to finish them off.

Mei's Ice wall can be destroyed by enemy heroes if it's positioned well enough to become a problem, but it does have a lot of HP!

When you have Blizzard, you can try to position it in the middle of the enemy team and then Ice Block yourself within it while they're confused and desperately attempting to escape! Try and stop those stragglers or clean them up with Icicle headshots!

Ice Block is considered an environmental effect whenever it's active, meaning your teammates can hide behind you for devastating abilities like D.VA's ultimate, Reinhardt's charge, McCree's Deadeye, Junkrat Rip Tire, or other abilities similar to that.

Mei is at her strongest when she can has allies capable of capitalizing upon frozen enemies like Snipers and McCree, but she struggles whenever her team lacks the damage to finish off her Frozen targets before they're free.

Mei heals herself whenever she goes into her Ice Block. If you can't find an allied Support hero or a Health Pack, use this as a quick way to regain some of your health before the next firefight.

Mei can use her Ice Wall underneath the feet of herself or her teammates to get them to ledges and places that they otherwise could not normally access easily. Find those secret spots for your Torbjorn or Bastion!

Torbjorn

Torbjorn's turret can easily be overwhelmed whenever Molten Core isn't active. Either work with your team to destroy it, or work with your team to protect is so it remains a valuable asset.

Molten Core upgrades Torbjorn's turret to it's utlimate form for maximum damage. Whenever it's in this form, it attacks faster and has rocket based attacks.

Armor Kits are an important asset for Torbjorn and his team. When it's safe, try to sneak out to pick up armor scraps that are left behind from defeated enemy players to craft Armor Packs for yourself and your teammates. Bonus points if you have a Symmetra!

Don't be afraid to auto attack as Torbjorn. Your shotgun blasts are surprisingly deadly, especially when you use your alternate fire ability in close range situations.

You can ask a friendly Torbjorn to drop you an armor pack without using voice or chat communication if you ask him for "healing" while targeting your reticule towards him.

Torbjorn's turret has blind spots from long distances. heroes like Widowmaker, Symmetra, and Pharah can punish Torbjorns who aren't aware of some of them.

When Molten Core is active, Torbjorn is capable of attacking and reloading much faster than usual. He's not a pushover either even if he's away from his turret when he uses this ability, since he gains a massive amount of armor on himself throughout the duration as well!

Junkrat

Junkrat’s RIP-Tire can be one of the most devastating Ultimate abilities to deal with in the game. It’s important that once you hear his ultimate announcement (and the sound of engines revving) that you immediately look around for the source of the RIP-Tire. The RIP-Tire has a limited amount of HP and if it takes too much damage, it will explode without dealing any damage to anyone.

Junkrat has a passive called Total Mayhem that causes him to drop grenades on the ground upon his death. It’s important that if you kill a Junkrat, that you move away from his corpse quickly! Otherwise, you’ll be killed from beyond the grave!

Junkrat is incredibly weak against heroes that have a height advantage over him (especially Pharah) because it becomes much harder to damage these targets with his primary fire ability if they're not on the ground.

As Junkrat, you can place your Steel Trap in numerous tricky locations. If an enemy triggers your Steel Trap, you can easily dismantle them with your primary fire ability!

You can bounce yourself to ledges and higher in the air with your concussion mine ability. It’s also incredibly effective when used with your Steel Trap because then your targets aren’t blown up into the air!

You can bounce your primary fire frag grenades off of walls and other environments to catch your enemies by surprise, or to get around pesky Reinhardt shields.

Junkrat’s RIP-Tire can jump, as well as climb over certain walls and environments to reach it’s destination and victims.

Bastion

Bastion has the highest damage output in the entire game, but he’s incredibly vulnerable when he’s stationary. Get teammates to assist you when you are stationary and move yourself around to different locations whenever it’s possible. If you stay in one location for too long, the enemy team will find a way to exploit it!

Bastion is capable of Self-Repairing himself whenever he loses HP, but to do so he has to channel an ability, and if he’s disrupted when he is using Self-Repair he cannot defend himself for a short time.

Bastion’s Ultimate Ability (Configuration Tank) allows Bastion to have powerful cannon blasts as well as being mobile for the duration! If you hear the horn, take cover, or hide behind a teammate’s shield. The cannon blasts are capable of doing massive damage to most targets within a short amount of time!

If you see an enemy Genji attempting to Deflect you, try to bait him out to use it. Genji can cancel his deflect early, but if you prepare yourself you should still be able to strike back before it’s too late!

It's possible to Rocket Jump with Bastion's Ultimate, to surprise your enemies from above with devastating attacks they just won't see coming! Check it out in action here with an Amazing Play of the Game!

Widowmaker

A good Widowmaker can be absolutely devastating to deal with, so it’s important to communicate with your team when you’re facing an enemy Widowmaker so they’re aware of her location. On the other side, it’s important to constantly re-position yourself as Widowmaker and not remaining stationary, or you’ll risk being taken out by heroes that can get behind your defenses or that have long ranged attacks.

A Widowmaker’s worst enemy is a Winston that won’t leave her alone. You can often “convince” enemy Widowmakers to change heroes if you continue to jump on them as Winston. Widowmaker has very limited ways of dealing with High HP targets like Winston.

After using your grappling hook, if you jump as you’re about to reach your destination, you can launch yourself higher into the air to do impressive “air snipes” onto targets that aren’t suspecting it.

Try to set up your Spider Mine in locations where the enemy team will encounter it, or as a way to watch your back when you’re trying to snipe targets from afar. You can try and give yourself a little notice when you’re about to be attacked!

Widowmaker may be labeled as a Sniper, but she’s capable of defending herself in short ranged situations as well with her rifle that transforms into an assault Rifle when she’s not scoped in. Never assume she’ll be a free kill in close quarters!

Combining your Ultimate (Infra-Sight) with your teammates can be crucial to your success in Defensive situations. Your entire team will be able to see enemy locations throughout the duration of the ability. So, try and give your team the upper hand when you aren’t sure where they’re grouping!

Hanzo

Hanzo’s Ultimate Ability (Dragon Strikes) can pass through walls and any other environment to damage any targets that are within the dragon’s path. Try to combine this ultimate in clever ways with teammates like Zarya and Mei, or when the enemy team puts themselves in narrow hallways!

Hanzo’s Sonic Arrow can deal damage to targets that are in it’s path when it’s used. If it damages an enemy, it will track and follow throughout the duration.

Hanzo’s Sonic Arrow has the same effect as Widowmaker’s Infra-Sight, but in a much smaller area. You can easily reveal enemies that are hiding behind walls and grouping for an attack!

Hanzo’s Scatter Shot can be incredibly effective when you aim at the target’s feet, or use it in narrow environments (like hallways!). It can also be a sneaky way to attack targets behind Reinhardt’s shield!

Hanzo can climb walls to easily reposition himself as necessary.

Support Heroes

Symmetra

Surprisingly, Symmetra is one of the most dangerous heroes you can encounter in a close quarters situation. Her primary fire locks onto heroes and the longer that she maintains the beam, the most damage it deals!

Symmetra can be very effective on Defense at the beginning of a match when you normally have a longer walk back to the Payload or Capture point objective, but as the match goes on her teleporter becomes a little weaker compared to usual because you're not walking the same distance as before. It may be wiser at these points to switch to a more traditional support. However, that does make the rare offensive Symmetra more effective as the game goes along as well.

If you notice the enemy team has a Symmetra, be careful when going past corners and obscure locations. She often will hide turrets in these locations to deal damage to distract you or your teammates, if not burst you before you have a chance to react!

Symmetra is capable of placing teleporters for her team on Offense or Defense, but when she does it's announced to everyone in the entire game. Try to keep your Symmetra's teleporter safe so that your team can access it when it's most crucial.

On that note, try to avoid using Symmetra's teleporter unless you absolutely have to. If you are playing a hero like Tracer and the payload isn't even in motion, it's better to conserve a charge so that a slower hero can get back to the battlefield faster, or so that a support can get back to help your team.

Symmetra can provide shields for all of her teammates by hitting "E" while pointing her targeting reticule at them. These shields are invaluable for your team because you otherwise cannot heal them like other Supports!

Symmetra's charged secondary fire ability is incredibly devastating to heroes that primarily remain stationary or attempting to hide behind shields. The balls travel for a very long distance unless they interact with the environment. If you see a ball of doom, run!

Lucio

Lucio has the unique ability to knock-back targets with his alternate fire ability. This ability can easily be used near ledges to catch your enemies by surprise!

Lucio has an incredibly low damage output, but his attacks go a relatively long range, and are capable of taking out stationary targets if need be.

Lucio can use Amp it Up on his movement crossfade to help allies escape from dangerous Ultimate abilites like Zarya’s Graviton Surge and Mei’s Blizzard.

Lucio is more powerful the more his team is grouped up with him, so try and stay close to Lucio so he can empower you and your team as much as possible!

Lucio’s Sound Barrier can protect allies from normally devastating ultimates (Tracer’s Pulse Bomb, McCree’s Dead Eye, ect.).

You can track how many people are being affected by your music by looking at the number below your Crosshair. It helps you keep track of how many people you'll hit with your Sound Barrier as well.

Lucio can skate upon walls if he approaches them and jumps. Lucio is capable of making himself hard to attack while he skates along the walls, as well as taking short cuts that other heroes normally are incapable of.

Avoid fighting Lucio and his team when his Sound Barrier is active. It can be incredibly difficult to get through his shields if you don’t have ultimates of your own to use!

Lucio gives his team a massive advantage on Control Point maps, by allowing his team to get to the point and get in position before the enemy team has the capability of doing so.

Mercy

Some Mercy players may prefer to disable a default option to "prefer to fly to beaming" target to have the capabilities of flying to non-beam targets at a moment's notice.

Mercy can easily charge her Resurrect Ultimate Ability from heroes that have large HP pools. Always expect her to have an ultimate ability active if a Roadhog is paired with her!

Try to empower friendly Roadhogs with your offensive beam if they land a hook. Your offensive boost will practically guarantee a kill every time he lands a hook!

After you activate your boost (your Angel Wings), you can hold your jump key to float and glide towards the target or the ground, rather than immediately landing. This can be incredibly important when you’re attempting to adjust yourself a lot on the fly… literally!

Your Healing Beam is only capable of healing one target at time, so try to set your own priorities about who you should be healing first. Try to keep everyone as healthy as possible, but don’t always just focus upon one target. Your entire team will need your assistance!

If you are ever alone and cornered, don’t hesitate to pull out your pistol. Your pistol is relatively strong if you’re accurate, and you can normally catch Offensive heroes off guard. No-one expects Dr. Ziegler to fight back!

Try to use your Resurrect ability often. Your Resurrect has a surprisingly low cooldown if you’re healing well, and at times it can be much more effective to rez two fallen players, rather than waiting for a massive rez.

Avoid using your Resurrect ability in dangerous areas. If you resurrect your allies just to immediately die again, you’re just giving the enemy team free ultimate charges!

Avoid using your Healing Beam on targets that are already full or close to full HP. Getting yourself into the habit of using your Offensive Beam more frequently will result in more kills and better assists for your team.

Try pairing yourself with a Pharah so that you can take control of the air with her. Empowering her Barrage and Soldier 76’s Tactical Visor can be incredibly deadly!

You can put on toggle healing for Mercy so that you no longer have to constantly hold down your left trigger when using your Offensive or Healing Beam.

Zenyatta

Zenyatta is the squishiest hero in Overwatch, but also has one of the highest damage outputs in the game. You can easily take out heroes if you keep a healthy distance.

Zenyatta is incredibly effective at dealing with Pharah, as well as stationary targets like Bastion from afar through the use of his Orb of Discord and having steady accurracy throughout using his primary fire.

Zenyatta’s Orb of Harmony requires that you keep a Line of Sight on your Target. Try to either inform your teammates when it’s active on them, or try to maintain a Line of Sight yourself on your target.

Call out your Orb of Discord target to your teammates so they can easily prioritize the weakened targets. Watch as the enemy team trembles before your teamwork capabilities!

If the Orb of Discord is placed upon you, the only way to easily remove it is by breaking Line of Sight with Zenyatta or by killing him.

Zenyatta’s Transcendence restores more HP than any other ability in the game, as well as making himself invulnerable throughout the duration. Try to position yourself in the middle of your team, or in front of enemy fire to soak damage for your teammates.

You can mess with the positioning of an enemy Zenyatta by using knock back abilities on him while he is using Transcendence.

Tank Heroes

Roadhog

Roadhog can easily push enemy heroes off maps and ledges when he uses his Whole Hog ability. If you hear him cackling, try and reposition yourself immediately if you're close to a ledge!

Roadhog has the highest HP pool in the game, but he doesn't have armor or shields like other tanks. That makes it important for Roadhog to avoid taking unnecessary damage or to quickly offset the damage with his Healing Tonic ability. That being said, Torbjorns and Symmetras can offset this weakness of Roadhog and make him even more powerful!

When you hook a hero, try to quickly use your primary fire and a melee attack to ensure that you kill them when they're in front of you. It's important to aim for the head to get that extra damage from your shot as well.

If you land a hook on someone as Roadhog, they almost always will be dragged to you even if they attempted to take cover afterwords.

Roadhog's Secondary fire is one of the stingiest range requirements in the game. However, if mastered properly can almost be as devastating as his primary fire in close range. Keep in mind that it only works at a medium range and if you attempt to use it in close range it essentially will deal no damage!

If you have a Mercy on your team, try to not use your Healing Tonic unless you absolutely have to if she is already healing you. Roadhog and Mercy can be a ridiculously powerful duo because of how much damage Roadhog takes and how quickly she can charge her Resurrect from his wounds!

Reinhardt

If two Reinhardt's hit each other while charging, they both get knocked over and stunned for a moment.

Reinhardt’s shield is only capable of absorbing up to 2,000 damage. It makes their turret capables even more dangerous.

Reinhardt can charge a D.VA mech that is in Self-Destuct Sequence to try and move it away from the team. It will kill Reinhardt in the process!

Reinhardt is always vulnerable from behind, but so is his team! Most players assume they’re safe when they’re behind Reinhardt and his shield, but you can easily take that away from him and his teammates by sneaking behind!

Winston

Avoid using Primal Rage when you’re alone. Try only using it when you can create chaos for your team to capitalize upon. Your health pool doubles whenever you’re in Primal Rage, which makes it incredibly easy for the enemy team to charge their ultimate abilities off of you whenever you’re jumping around.

Use your primary and alternate fires as frequently as possible when you’re jumping around in Primal Rage. Winston doesn't have access to his shield or weapon throughout the duration.

You can easily fling targets off ledges when you’re using Primal Rage, so try and shove the enemy to plunge to their deaths!

Winston is one of the most effective heroes at dealing with enemy snipers. Try to combine your ultimate with other heroes for maximum efficiency. Even if you manage to get a D.VA out of her mech, she can call down another mech if she damages enough players in her pilot form.

D.VA’s call mech ability can damage, knock back, or even kill enemy players who are at it’s location when it lands.

D.VA can completely negate other heroes utlimates with her Defense Matrix. She can also end it early if she wants to resume firing upon other heroes.

D.VA never has to reload when she is in her mech form. However, her attacks aren’t very long ranged and don’t deal massive amounts of damage unless she manages to headshot other heroes.

D.VA can use her boost to “push” enemy heroes to deal mild damage as well as pushing them off edges.

When playing as D.VA, you can activate your boost and exit your mech when you use Self Destruct, so that the mech continues to move in whatever direction you pointed it in. This allows your Self-Destruct to become much more unpredictable and devastating!

D.VA can use her boost to get to different parts of the map faster than most other heroes. Her mobility is similar to Winston's capabilities with his jump, which means you can be just as obnoxious towards enemy snipers if you need to be. This includes getting onto different ledges and other areas or stationary targets may hide. They won't expect getting hit in the face with a mech, followed by a Rocket Punch!

If you perform a melee attack while rocket boosting, it will deal bonus damage to the player that you hit when you make collision with your mech and from the quick strike.

After using Self-Destruct, D.VA can almost immediately call down a new mech when it explodes. Don’t be caught off guard!

D.VA’s pilot form may be squishy, but she still deals plenty of damage outside of her mech, as well as being able to attack from longer distances to dismantle stationary targets.
