Well, it's two diff cultures.  I don't know how important religion is in Poland when it comes to titling Godmother/Godfather. As I said, I think the best advice I or anyone can give you is just be upfront with your sister. If she says it's ok that you're not religious, would you still accept the title/position ?

Well, you can't. You have  a couple choices  1)revoke your choice to not be religious so you can be God Mother 2)Find a way to be guardian without taking the title of God Mother  3)Lie  4)be upfront with your sister/family and explain your situation and thoughts

Alright, well, when in Afghanistan I made a decision that resulted in the death of a young local boy. I didn't know how to talk about it, I didn't know how to live with it, so I drank and did drugs and it destroyed my life, this secret I didn't feel i could tell anyone or open up to anyone about.  I ended up in  rehab for cocaine and alcohol addiction, I had to open up to my parents and confront them and tell them everything, I wad afraid they'd be dissapointed in me, they wouldn't understand, they'd hate me as a son and I wouldn't be able to do it, but i did it and it was hard,  but family always understands, there's one thing that will always be there for you and understand.
and THAT's why my app said I don't drink :stuck_out_tongue:
