Greeting of Turmoil (Part 4.)

When I wake up, I find myself back in a room that I didn't fall asleep in. I look around and see the stuff my parents sent over, so I assume that this is my room. I head out and check the number and see it's 118, which is the room I was assigned to. I breathe a heavy sigh for this day to be finally over. I then head back into my room. I head over to my bed and look out the window for a couple of seconds, before I quickly fall asleep.

 

The next morning, my alarm blares up. Since it's the first time in a while, I get startled out of my bed and fall to the floor. Hisao opens my door and looks around concerned.

 

"Are you alright Louis?" He says before he sees me on the floor rubbing my head.

 

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine, alarm startled me. Been a long time since I heard it." I say rubbing my head. "How did you know I was in here?"

 

"Nurse asked me to help bring you back to your room late yesterday. Nurse checked out your file and found your room and worked from there." Hisao says worried about how I'll react.

 

"Oh okay, thank you both." I say managing a small smile as I finish rubbing my head.

 

"No problem, hey Louis?" Hisao says waiting for me to answer.

 

"Yes Hisao?" I say looking up at him, getting a strange sense of deja vu.

 

"What happened yesterday if you don't mind me asking?" Hisao says worried that he had upset me.

 

I look off to the side. "It's nothing, just a small case of stage fright." I say shakily.

 

"Okay. Do you want to grab breakfast?" Hisao says relieved about my reaction.

 

"You don't even have to ask that? I missed lunch yesterday since of my wandering and dinner yesterday since of the events. I'm starving." I say jumping up to my feet.

 

"Okay, might want to get out of your pajamas first though." Hisao says laughing.

 

"Oh yeah. Thanks for reminding me." I say laughing. Hisao leaves the room so I can get dressed. Five minutes later, I come out in the school uniform looking at the sleeves.

 

"Something wrong Louis?" Hisao says looking at me.

 

I jump up startled by him noticing. "Oh no, I was just thinking of adding a small touch to make my clothes stick out, plust it'll help me to keep my calm better." I say nervously.

 

"Okay, would you like some help with that?" Hisao says calming down.

 

"No, it's fine, I can handle it myself, thanks for asking though." I say smiling some.

 

"Okay then, let's hurry up before all the good food is gone." Hisao says smiling pointing to the cafeteria.

 

"I hear that." I say going into a brisk walk to the cafeteria.

 

When me and him arrive at the cafeteria, it's nearly deserted, very few people are in their and a lot of the food is still ripe for the taking. Hisao and I grab a plate and head through the line, piling on as much stuff as our plates can hold. Hisao arrives at an empty table and sits down, when he looks at me, he sees that half the food's already gone from my plate.

 

"What happened to your food Louis?" Hisao says confused.

 

"Um, I ate it, I did say I was hungry, plus I can eat and walk at the same time. A useful skill." I say smiling and laughing.

 

"Dang man I was hoping to be the first one out of the two of us to finish eating." Hisao says disappointed.

 

"Sorry, but I'm not one to lose in an eating contest." I say smiling.

 

"I didn't want it to be a contest. Just a little friendly race." Hisao says before eating some curry bread.

 

"Founds the fame to ne." I say before swallowing my food. "Sounds the same to me." I say again, clearer.

 

"You have me there." Hisao says finishing his food, roughly five minutes after I was done eating.

 

"We should head to class. I'd like some time to relax after yesterday." I say picking up our trash and take them to the trash.

 

"Okay and thanks." Hisao says getting up and heads out of the cafeteria as I jog up a couple feet behind him.

 

The halls were eerily quiet just like yesterday, but then again it's roughly half and hour left until class starts.

 

When me and Hisao arrive in class, the teacher isn't there, but Misha, Shizune and one other person are in the room already. The other person has violet hair that covers the right side of her face. Her one visible eye is looking at a book she's holding in her hand.

 

"Hey, who's that girl in the back Hisao?" I ask Hisao after getting his attention.

 

"Who, oh, that's Hanako, she doesn't talk that much." Hisao says sadly.

 

"That's hard to hear, but I can relate." I say sadly. "I dealt with the same thing."

 

Me and Hisao talk between the two of us while Misha and Shizune sign between each other while the classroom fills up with the rest of the students and eventually Mr. Mutou who finds me and heads over to me.

 

"Louis, are you feeling better?" Mr. Mutou says worried.

 

I nod. "Yeah, thanks for your concern." I say smiling a bit.

 

"Okay then, today will be doing group work. Get into groups of three or four and do the assignment I'm about to write on the board." Mr. Mutou says walking to the chalkboard.

 

"Louis, do you want to work with me, Shicchan, and Hicchan?" Misha says upbeat after my reply to Mr. Mutou's question of my state.

 

"Thanks, but I'd like to get to know my classmates some more if that's alright with you." I say nodding my head as a sign of gratitude.

 

"Sure, just remember that you can always come here if you can't find anyone to work with." Misha says gleefully.

 

"I'll make sure to remember that thanks." I say as I head from group to group to find a potential one to talk to.

 

All the rest of the groups had four people each, so I was about to return to Misha, Shizune and Hisao, when I notice Hanako alone by herself.

 

I head over to her in her direct line of sight not to scare her. She doesn't seem to notice me as I walk closer to her.

 

"Excuse me, Hanako?" I say slowly and nervously.
