I would just like to keep this short and simple, nothing more.

 

I know I have had a lot of differences and 'fights' with people in the community, and members of the staff. I have seen how people either quit on there own, and come back on their own or are asked to come back, as well as people who get fired (in a way) and have gotten second chances, and we have seen how they improve from what they were before, which tells us that we need to take things into consideration, same way I want this to be taken into consideration as well, for the better or the worst.

 

I got to be a GM very quickly for a short time and then I was not a GM anymore, reason I was told was because the decision was made too quickly and that I was found annoying, ignorant and just all around dumb by staff members and other members alike. Now, this may be just be my opinion, but all in all, if anybody is able to have a second chance to redeem themselves, and are given that second chance, then I think (remember, just an opinion) I should also, be given that second chance, and I honestly mean that in every way.

 

I am applying to be an Intern and NOT a GM this time, because I have seen what happens when you rush things too quickly, give people too much power too fast and make big decisions too quickly that either do or could end up making matters even worse, so, to make it easier for myself and for everybody else, I would want to be an Intern to start off from the bottom, instead of jumping straight to the top, and this way I will be able to show exactly the type of person I am, while being able to complete whatever task I have, whatever task it is.

 

One thing I like to handle are issues players have personally, a few things that some might overlook since they are, after all, personal. I like to handle them specifically because you get to move on to a deeper level of communication with players, which some may or may not be able to understand as well as the person themselves, since it is 'personal'. Being able to handle them, you get to understand a player better, from their point of view, looking at the situation as if you were the person asking for help, and what sort of answer you would want to receive, and the thing is, even though you won't always get the answer you were hoping for, one thing is for sure is that the problem is handled, one way or another.

 

I look into all those little things, the small details, I like to take my time when I do things to make sure the player(s) are happy in the end, more or less how I do it, as long as the job get's done.

 

I will just say, whatever experience I have had was a very long time ago, I don't know if it would matter much in this case but it was a big server, had a nice community, people got into fights as they always do in every server, and I always did, not tried, my best to handle whatever the situation was. When you try something, it shows your just playing around, your not putting effort into it, thus you might not have handled it correctly and you might have made it worse (maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but oh well).

 

The point is, if you know what you are doing, if you know what to do, then DO it, don't try it, because when your trying something, your not 100% into it, and right now I have been thinking about this for a while now, and I was a bit insecure honestly to what reaction I would get, if I got any at all, because of what has happened a while back and I don't like having the past to always determine your future, I just want whatever there was between me and whoever else that we were grudgy to each other to forget about that and see things in a new way, is that alright?

 

I am an extremely kind person, sometimes too kind for my own good, if someone does something wrong I might forgive them the first time because I know everybody makes mistakes, even very bad ones, and I know how it feels when you make a mistake and you are in a hole that you can't get out, but it always helps when there is a person there to help you get out of that hole and help you learn to correct those mistakes, and I really, really want to be that person, it's just how I was raised, to be kind and caring no matter what, even against your enemies, just wouldn't want that to be taken advantage of, which is why I have my strict side, and I don't allow anybody to take advantage of me.

 

This resume is not meant to be just my opportunity to have a second chance but it's meant for me to do what I have been aiming for ever since I joined.

 

My goal is to connect to the community on a deeper level, not that there isn't any interaction but to me, it seems a bit stale, and I want to take it to the level where everybody, the staff, the well known players and the 'outcasts' feel like they belong, that they know each other, and it's something that I can't do by myself and it can only be done by those who do, not try, and I know this isn't only something that I want but it's something many other people know and want as well.

 

Ok, well now that I've given a pretty long essay in this, you may think that it's pretty irrelevant to maplestory since it's a game after all, but most of what I have wrote should be taken more figuratively, I don't want to put the burden on you guys but just as a way of understanding all this, try to connect the things I have wrote to situations you may find in the game, and see how it would work out.

 

As a favor, please, take time into reading this, please don't just skip through it and make decision hastily, it's a bad habit because it could always lead you into making a decision that could really eff up something, and I've seen that happen a lot, for the better or the worse.

 

References: Well, I mainly came here because of the people I already knew long ago, and some of them are in this staff and some of them quit, but here are all the people I know of that could vouch for me I guess, either good or bad but honesty is more important: iAmSteve, PurpleMadness, Anujan, Diana/Zuii, Traitor, Xterm (you prolly don't remember me though...), Alison (be honest), Bellatrixa, Vampie-elf (err I think that's how you spell it).

 

Well that's just staff from DMS, I have a whole bunch of people like general players, and people outside DMS but still might have a few connections to it, if you would like a more complete list I will make one later because it's pretty long :)

 

Thank you for giving people this opportunity, especially for being Interns as it would be better for myself and easier for the staff to choose since both you guys and I wouldn't have to worry about giving too much 'power' or handling too much of it.

 

P.S. I've been in very sick conditions lately with pneumonia and depression and what not, so I had to quit being on the computer which resulted in me not being able to be active either, but now that I have gotten better, I am going to be active again, and maplestory helps my depression so all in all I would say I'm ready to come back full time :) thanks again.

 

I would like to thank Alison, Kelly and Bellatrixa a lot because they've helped me a lot in many ways wether it be a small problem or a big one, or just something I needed to find inside myself, and I look up to them as my guidelines of what I would do in different cases and I'm glad they have been there to help me, even if they didn't know they did in the first place.F
