Suspicion of TNE Engaging in DDoS attacks

  1. As you may know, there are high suspicions of DDoS-related activities being executed by Team [TNE] The Nightmare Ending on DNF in the war scene. In this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/7wp2bx - the Skype belongs to DarkKing77 who is the former leader of TNE who was apparently IP-ban evading and currently re-IP banned - shows that he undeniably operated several DDoS attacks as well as "teaching" his other members how to do the same. It is also hinted bear the end of the screenshot that he may still be IP-ban evading.

  5. 1st Disconnection: DarkKing77 vs. Ayu~ (myself) - The match itself did not take too long as it only lasted with the length of a game. It was a Tellarknight vs. Nekroz matchup and I won game 1 pretty easily since I opened T-King w/ a CotH. However, games 2 and 3 was when things got a bit icky. Game 2, I opened pretty decent, but right when I was going to Triverr (with Anti-Spell Fragrance on board), my computer completely froze. I couldn't take a screenshot as it seemed that Google Chrome (the web browser I was using) had crashed on me. I paid no mind to this at first and thought it was only a simple malfunction, though it had never occurred to me at all. So I lost game 2 due to disconnection. About 5 minutes later, I restarted Chrome and everything else was going swell. Note that I did not restart my computer as I only thought it was a browser issue. So I immediately re-challenged DarkKing77 to a game 3 with the thought that my connection was fine now. However, in the beginning of game 3, it happened once again. My browser completely froze and crashed. I couldn't take a screenshot, and before I know it, I had disconnected from DN. It was still my first turn. Again, I paid no mind to this thinking that something must have been wrong with my computer. Maybe a virus or browser problem - I didn't know so I unwillingly accepted my match defeat. What caught my and my teammates' attention later on was what happened next.

  7. 2nd Disconnection: DarkKing77 vs. Ayu~ (again) - He continuously tried to challenge me while dodging my other members which I found a bit fishy. At first I thought it was just because he was taking advantage of my connection. So this time, I tried again. Note that this was an hour or two later and I did not suffer any crashes from Chrome (and I restarted my computer) so I thought I was fine again. Later did I know, as soon as one of my Shaddolls hit the field on my first turn, my screen froze out again (for the third time). Game 2, I completely bricked and lost the match once more. I had a bit of suspicion that something was not right. However, I didn't speak up since I didn't want to accuse anyone of anything without exact solid evidence. But what caught mine and my teammates' attention later on was what happened next.

  9. 3rd Disconnection: OscarDelaHoya vs. faysal18 - Note that DarkKing was watching the duel while faysal and Oscar were playing. I especially had to watch the match (since we were losing by a few hearts at the time). As soon as faysal began to some field advantage after summoning out one of his Yang Zings Synchros, he stopped doing anything. He completely froze. Later on in game 2, he lost again having the Yang Zing vs. Heroes matchup. But most importantly, on the Skype chat later on, he mentioned that his internet completely crashed and he had no chance to take any screenshots at all. This immediately rose the entire team's suspicion including my own. I remembered that when I disconnected from DarkKing77, I could not even access Skype on my phone because I was using my internet at home. By that time, we immediately figured that 99.99% DarkKing77's team had something to do with the disconnections. But how? Albert (theamatuer) told us after a while that DDoS-ing someone like this requires their IP address. And that mine can easily be obtained via the DNF Captains' Chat. After seeing this, faysal also pointed out that a random person on DN PM'd and asked him for his Skype ID. Paying no mind, he nonchalantly gave out his ID. Neither of us received any friend requests and we didn't add anyone new into our Skype contacts during the time. So, we figured that DarkKing77 only needed our Skype IDs to figure out our IP addresses, and thus be able to execute DDoS attacks.

  11. 4th Disconnection: Near N vs. Darth Hachi - Hachi lost game one, but at the beginning of game 2, she disconnected immediately. Note how disconnections are happening so much earlier in the games. As a side note according to Hachi, two people were watching the duel, one with an unknown but forgotten username and the other was Ds.Sting, a member of TNE. (Who will be discussed later on.)

  13. Note: A member of TNE, ~~Ds.Sting~~ was stalking all of our members in their Rated/Unrated matches. We thought he was just gaining information on what decks we play. Also, after these incidents, I immediately reported to War Adjucator and friend, Seigetsu. who told me that the WAs are already on the case. Our Skype conversation:

Disconnections in this war thread were not specified, but certain posts were made to rightfully be certain that there were definitely diconnections that went on in the course of the war. http://prntscr.com/80okuy followed by a http://prntscr.com/80ol0s from Ds.Sting which adds on even more suspicion that Ds.Sting is indeed one of DarkKing77's "successors" (if you will). Later on, during another discussion with Seigetsu., apparently Jay claimed that http://prntscr.com/80olpi a member, Carry out, had experienced a total of 3 disconnections when dueling with DarkKing77.

  70. There were absolutely no claims of disconnection during this war, but I think it is worth a mention. I believe that DarkKing's team only didn't use this method of DDoS-ing mainly because they were up against a Head Admin's team and the last thing they want is for a Head admin to get onto their case.   131. It was in this war that DarkKing77 got re-IP banned for IP-ban evading. Now the interesting part is, the disconnections never stopped happening when up against TNE. Especially against one particular person - ~~Ds.Sting~~. This may remind us of the screenshot http://prntscr.com/7wp2bx that Ds.Sting is indeed one of the people DarkKing77 has "taught" his method of DDoS attacks to.

  133. 1st Disconnection: Ds.Sting vs. Hakan - Hakan was playing with Puffin browser on his phone and all that. Disconnected and appealed because he had a winning hand.

  135. 2nd Disconnection: Ds.Sting (again) vs. N3sh - N3sh disconnected pretty early in the game. and considering it was game 3... eh, adds on to more suspicion as Ds.Sting might have lost that game and the match as a whole.

  137. Note: What we know is that DarkKing77 is capable of IP ban evading. However, what we don't know is whether or not if he is re-IP ban evading and if so, what alt account he is on now. He could be using his alt to aid his teammates as of right now.

  153. This is pretty much as much as I can give right now, but if anything new comes up, I will definitely 100% update to this list. However, I think these are more than enough evidence to be certain of the fact that there are member(s) of TNE who are causing all of these unusual disconnections. Please also keep in mind that I haven't talked to each members and teams individually and personally so there may be left out information or even more disconnections in some of the wars.
