  1. First off: http://extraneousintrovert.tumblr.com/post/141365749725/a-quick-guide-to-double-checking-your-type-by
  2.
  3. Someone with dominant Fi uses their own personal values to evaluate their interpersonal relationships between individuals. Highly confident in evaluating the consistency of moral or ethical qualities in others. An Fi-dom therefore may appear judgmental or self-righteous. Can instantly decide if they are drawn or repelled to a person, recognize friend between foe based on their underlying intentions. They firmly hold onto their belief of good and bad, or right vs wrong. These feelings are often hidden however, unless something provokes a strong negative reaction from them. They are highly sensitive to what they perceive the concepts of honour, duty, or morality to be. Own feelings and values are more important than external public ones. Because they develop their values subjectively, they may deviate from accepted social norms, and as a result may be misunderstood. They tend to be more “mature” than Fe types. They tend to think about what to say and carefully articulate it rather than being more extroverted in their expression. In this respect, they may closely resemble Thinking rather than Feeling types. They tend to be deep and intense, as introverts naturally are. As a judging function, the Fi tends to be more serious than lighthearted.

  5. They tend to be oriented towards engaging the external world through their senses. They can recall sensory experiences very well and enjoy scanning the physical environment rather than getting lost in their heads, as those with dominant N functions tend to do. They tend to be more action-oriented than verbal, unlike N types. They are more likely to be interested in something practical, like cooking or sports. Because of their tendencies towards the sensory world, they are more geared for something like visual art than poetry. Their extraverted sensing function gives them an advantage when it comes to aesthetics and fashion. They are highly alert to the environment and easily notice the fashions and aesthetic sensibilities of others. They likewise may be more likely to have a highly discriminating but adventurous sense of taste. This function also oriented them towards more “physical” activities such as dancing, music, sports, cooking and so on.

  7. Tertiary Ni manifests in people wanting their artistic and/or mechanical projects to lead to something greater. They love being “hands on” but always wonder if it will lead to something better down the road. They can thus at times, wonder what the future has in store for them. This can lead them to daydreaming but with actual skills and plans to make it happen if they put the effort and energy into it. While more oriented towards the sensory, this function balances out these tendencies by allowing the to think more abstractly, like dominant N types. This tends to operate unconsciously, however, so they need to be very in touch with themselves in order to access it.

  9. This function is more oriented towards the abstract, general, objective and universal, as opposed to the individual and concrete. In this sense, their inferior function is the polar opposite of their dominant function, and it functions very much in an unconscious manner. This function gives them the ability to grasp more systematic elements when it comes to their penchant for social justice. They may be able to use this function to think of how structural inequalities may cause individuals to languish away in poverty, rather than merely attending to the personal, concrete and subjective. They may even derive pleasure from obsessive rule-following and systematizing, contrary to their dominant function. When Te is repressed (your inferior function), Fi is subsequently most dominant. In this case, a desire to not make logical conclusions about external surroundings, as well as an unwillingness to assert one’s self takes precedence. You also tend to judge people more heavily for incompetence and inefficiency.
  10.
  11. An ISFP in a Fi-Ni loop (an unhealthy ISFP) overanalyze situations, getting stuck in their head and find themselves unable to act on any of their beliefs. They will wallow in their feelings and overanalyze situations, also becoming overly anxious in situations. They will also become overly worried about the long term implications of an action and have trouble acting in the moment, worrying about whatever future emotional repercussions will result from actions. They will read into things past what is on the surface and come to negative conclusions which result in negative emotions, which they then stew in.
