  4. -ALL PAID TO TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER-
  5. Venue - $3 (all proceeds go to the school)
  6. Singles (1v1) - $3
  7. Doubles (2v2) - $4 ($2/Player)
  8. IF YOU BRING A SETUP FOR MELEE, YOUR VENUE FEE WILL BE FREE

  10. - SETUPS -
  11. - The game must be vanilla Melee or a stable version of 20XXTE version 1C or higher. NO OTHER VERSION OF MELEE.
  12. - You can only bring a GameCube with a Melee disc or a Wii with a Melee disc. you DO NOT need to have a memory card.
  13. - Your TV MUST be a CRT TV in order to have no input lag. Your TV will be tested.

  15. - BRACKETS -
  16. (In the case of a Double Elimination bracket, everyone starts off in the Winner's Side of the bracket. Losing your first game will send you to the Loser's Side of the bracket, giving you another chance of winning. In a Single Elimination bracket, you're only given one chance)

  18. - Double Elimination Bracket
  19. - Best of 5 set (first to 3 wins) for the top 6. (Winner's Semifinals, Winner's Finals, Loser's Quarterfinals, Loser's Semifinals, Loser's Finals, Grand finals)
  20. - All other games are best of 3 sets (first to 2 wins)

  22. DOUBLES
  23. - Double elimination if more than six teams enter.
  24. - Best of 5 set for top 4 teams. (Winner's Finals, Loser's Semifinals, Loser's finals, and Grand finals.)

  33. - Yoshi's Story (starter)
  34. - Fountain of Dreams (starter)
  35. (in doubles, FoD is banned)
  36. - Final Destination (starter)
  37. - Battlefield (starter)
  38. - Dream Land (starter)
  39. - Pokémon Stadium (counter pick)
  40. (available as a starter in doubles)

  42. Playing a Set
  43. - Both players choose characters.
  44. - Starter stage is decided through nomination.
  45. Play Rock Paper Scissors to determine who strikes a starter stage.first. Whoever wins chooses whether or not they want to strike first or second. Whoever strikes first strikes two stages. Second striker strikes one stage. The first striker then strikes two stages again and the remaining stage is the first stage to be played on.
  46. - After the game one, Pokémon Stadium becomes available as a counter pick stage. Winner bans a stage besides what was just played on. Loser then chooses a stage besides the one played on UNLESS MUTUALLY AGREED ON.
  47. - After stage has been selected on, loser of game one chooses a character if they want to switch then the other player chooses a character if they want.
  48. - REPEAT PROCESS UNTIL END -

  50. - ADDITIONAL RULES -
  51. - Wobbling is legal.
  52. - Freezing or infinities is illegal.
  53. - Wireless controllers are banned unless a TO is there to inspect the process of plugging or connecting in the wireless controller before the game. Call for a TO if you're about to play a set with a wireless controller.
  54. - Players will be playing on TVs. Chairs will be offered, but sitting is optional.
