I know many who drink so I don't care if I legalize pot to get the mother lode of pro-gun reforms.

I would offer Democrats the following.

-Decriminalization of pot on Federal level, but they will still have to decriminalize pot on the State & local level.

-I would Pardon the non-violent criminals that have a good Prison Behavior who're in jail for pot.


-I would allow the importation of generic medicine that costs a dollar a pill in India versus 30 dollars or more a pill that the corporations charge in America for the same medication.

Republicans would get the following.

-BATF reforms so that the BATF would no longer regulate Drugs,Alcohol & Tobacco,but the FDA would.

-I would remove the need to have license to produce alcohol for personal consumption. So now you would be able to produce Rum,Moon shine & Vodka at home.

-I would give Pardons to those who distilled without a license,and wipe their criminal records.

-I would Pardon those who got in trouble for carrying guns where they were banned from doing so such as Chicago,or on them while they drove their big rigs across state lines.

-National Carry License so people would be able to carry in States like CA,and localities such as NYC.

I would include a more restricted 2nd level so that college students would be able to carry on campus,and allow people to carry in other areas such as on Aircraft,even if it means regular testing to make sure they can aim their guns correctly.

I would allow states to keep their licenses as a fall back.

-I would repeal the NFA.

-I would force the now neutered BATF to create a license that would allow people to ship guns directly to their homes. As of the moment you're only allowed to do this with the C&R license.

-I would completely reform the gun importation laws.
Right now you have to Neuter the guns because of Clinton Era sporterisation requirements. This results in guns that don't function well such as the CETME rifles.


-I would gut the Vet Bring back regulation so that vet bring backs would be as liberal as they were in ww1/2.

I would stick such reforms in the NDAA or the Federal budget so that they would be nearly impossible to block.
Also parties would have something major to gain out of such a deal. What do you think will happen if the Democrats turned down federal decriminalization of Pot with Pardons? What do you think will happen to the republicans if they turned down such major pro gun reforms?
