Even when he had been the most terrified sith who conquered Naboo he was not one to toy with and play with his food. Torture and sadism were not his game, he came to get the job done and unfortunately the jedi before him was the job needing to be done. A jedi who had carried himself as any of his order should. A man who aspired for justice and the safety of all the innocents who dwelled within the galaxy. Any other sith would take joy in killing such a jedi, Shaboto was going to take no joy in it at all.

Walking up to the wounded jedi Shaboto took a moment as all the sith watched. With a look that only conveyed the words"I'm sorry" silently that only Jinwa could see the sith held his crimson blade at his side illuminating the two of them. One quick motion bringing it upward. One motion that would cut into Jinwa's chest deep enough to cut through the lungs and heart of the jedi councilor to end his pain, not enough to mutilate his body beyond recognition or completely cut him in half though. Once the deed was done one push from Shaboto would aim to send the Zabrak off over the balcony to the temple below.</b>

It had an aroma to it, something that drew the screams of the dead to ones mind, something that sent shivers down the spine as it felt like countless lifeless eyes gazed upon you from a beyond you could not perceive. Darth Cadaver's eyes continued to stare. The days leading to this invasion had plagued him with visions. Mixed images of death, Kenobi burning, the Galaxy alight with flame and tendrils of darkness snaking from the dark and never ending void.

His dark lips curled before releasing a soft cloud of air as his skin was cold to the touch, cold as ice, and cold as his glare. His gloved hands flexed as he stretched his fingers, that neck rolling with a crack. His feet were carrying him forward, boot splashing in a shallow puddle of blood from his previous victims, their bodies spread around him, minds shattered and the very essence of life having been drawn from their chest. He felt one still near him however, one still alive, still a flickering light in this sickly darkness that was spreading across this moon which the Jedi loved.

 His eyes had never fallen upon the Kenobi Temple for obvious reasons. He was struck by the... serenity and general visual appeal to peace that it provided. Practically disgusting and drawing a taint of vile to the back of his throat. "Now, now~" He spoke, his voice echoing down the large corridor as he had neared this presences location. "I know you are here, and you know I am. I do implore you not to make this... A difficult endeavor." His voice was sickly and burned like acid, but it also rolled darkly pleasantly upon ones ears. Filling their mind with twists and darkness of his words, those even tainted by the darkest reaches of the dark side itself. </b>

The Sith surrounding Shaboto and the lifeless body of Jinwa turned as they noticed their Dark Lord, Darth Kadavas, flying away from the battle upon his Drexl beast, Kotar. With the defeat and death of Jinwa and other high ranking Jedi, the Sith turned to Shaboto. Many were skeptical, but they had suffered great losses here too, and were within inches of victory. Although some seemed willing to fight Shaboto, the quick and easy way by which he took care of the others who fought him, kept their hands from igniting their weapons. Instead, they marched forward, pushing past the remaining defenders and bursting through the entrance of Kenobi Moon. Whether or not Kadavas would accept Shaboto back was uncertain, but gaining the respect of those who were failing to kill the Jedi Councilor brought him that much closer.</b>

Whether or not any of the great artifacts remained he did not know. If they did though there wre only relics of a now bygone era, most the jedi who knew how to open and utilize them were dead and with them the knowledge of how to access it until another rose up to. Reaching down to pick up the saber hilt of the fallen Jinwa Shaboto would look towards some of the spare shuttles of the imperials, shuttles by some miracle not yet overtaken and destroyed with how aggressively the sith were pushing.

"Waste your time in an empty room if you really wish it. Anyone who intends to actually be useful and not a mindless beast for the hunters stalking around is free to follow me." Shaboto said coldly. He knew it would likely raise the ire of numerous sith present, that was their folly though. He had killed the Councilor Jinwa where all of them had failed. If they made the attempt to kill him? Their fate was going to be far less merciful than that jedi's. His aura to any Imperials present though would be familiar, Darth Shaboto was making his proper return.</b>

She could feel the darkness and intensity that rolled off of this newcomer like a deadly wave&#x2026; It filtered through the library, covering everything and seeping into her surroundings like a twisted plague. A scowl came across her previously stoic face, but those eyes remained closed. Still in her meditative stance, Serana's head tilted to the side as the Darth made his way to her location. It felt as if the room was&#x2026; Colder now. But the woman paid no mind to this and worked more on the objective of settling her mind for what was to come. Nimble fingers went up behind her head, tying her black, frayed hair into a makeshift ponytail, as to make sure it was not in the way, but she was very slow and deliberate with her motions. She was hoping to take her time- And also hoping that the Sith would not rush and force her into a fight she wasn't quite ready for. To her relief, he seemed to be moving just as slowly. Even with her methodical nature, Serana spoke with that now cold tone of hers&#x2026; It was almost hard to believe she was once a cheerful and friendly young girl.

 "Yes.. We both know." She said, drawing out the conversation in hopes of, as futile as it seemed, stalling the man edging closer. "But I will not bow to you." Those deep blue eyes were exposed and she stared ahead at him&#x2026; In all of his wretched glory. <i>Sith..</i> Her fingers lowered and dragged across the ground, gliding over the cold metal hilt of her saber before they tightened into a grip- And she stood, allowing one free hand to push herself off of the ground. Her eyes showed nothing- No fear, no hatred.. It was as if she only existed and was not capable of emotion- And yet her soul said so much more. It spoke volumes of how grieved she was- And, deep down, how much she hated the Sith for what they'd done. The most worrisome part for Serana was that she did not hide these emotions- Were the man to feel her presence, he would know exactly what she felt- And exactly what the Jedi Knight would try to accomplish.

 There was nothing left of the Temple. Nothing but shambles. Many of her friends were already gone. Her first master was no-where to be seen- And her second had died only hours before her current situation. Her Padawan&#x2026; The one she had failed to save, was long gone- And so Serana, at once, had both nothing- And everything to fight for. This was her home- But home was nothing without family. The Jedi Knight had no wish to live on past this day, for no matter how hard she fought, those she loved could never be brought back. But she'd be damned if she would lay down for this Sith.

 Her face set in a grim mask of determination as she glowered down towards him. "Make your move, Sith."</b>

It was the same as every other Sith had done, and so the Jedi had fallen into a false sense of security about her situation. Out of all things the Sith could have tried, this was the option that Whisper had least expected.

 The hairs on her neck bristled at his voice, as it felt so very near, too close in fact to be a physical effect- She had heard it from within, and nothing could stop the process that Darth Cadaver had begun, though Serana made sure she would try. Her blade ignited quickly, and turning her body sideways she brought her hand up in a slashing arc- Launching her blade towards the Sith with a fast, powerful saber throw in hopes that she could disrupt his attack, or perhaps maim him in some way. The attack was slow however, compared to how the Force seemed to darken and sink down upon her- Until he took his opportunity to latch onto the mind of his prey. With a scream of pain, she dropped to her knees, though her voice cut out abruptly as the pain changed to a sort of <i>grip</i> upon her mind. The saber she had thrown arced downwards, slashing through the ground several times, leaving scars in the fine marble before it deactivated, rolling towards the man's feet. Meanwhile, the Jedi Knight lie upon the stone above and ahead of him, trying to bear the whirlwind of emotions and memories that surged forth from her own history- And trying, if it were at all possible, to find some way of combating this mental attack the Sith employed.</b>

Don't think or do negative things and most times they won't happen, right? That's how Aren tries to process his decisions anyway. [23:48:31] <Epic64> UnderliningInk:Aren was surprised when she got stern, she had some bite to her. He didn't mind it, made him respect her even more if anything. Aren nodded. They could talk more about 'He' after they survived, which Aren planned to do. "Right then, I'm ready." Aren motioned his head to the Jedi troops to continue going on forward. Aren himself liked to be swift upon the battlefield. It wouldn't be long before they would be approaching the platoon of sith that had occupying this area, one squad of many. This squad however, was going to go down. Aren ignited his violent hued blade and began clashing with foes. His movements were elegant, almost like dance yet strong and bold. In his way of fighting, it could be noticed how briefly he kept contact with his lightsaber and another, and how he only struck when he could easily get in and out of someone's range. Most Makashi users didn't have much luck in multiple people vs one. Aren however, being also highly skilled in Niman and adept in Shien could maneuver such groups and use their size against them. One sith took a jab at Aren's head with their saber, to parry the attack, spin off the momentum and sidestep another lounging attack that would hit Aren's previous attacker that graze the poor fellow's shoulder. Aren greeted them both with Electric judgement to knock them out. They were green, the need for an army most have stretch the sith out for quality men in some areas.
