  1. Greetings citizens of the United States. we are anonymous...
  2. Over two centuries ago, our four fathers had the thought and foresight to create a document that would allow the United States to flourish as a unified nation. This document, the United states constitution, was written with the intention of creating a form of government in which the rights and interests of the people would be safeguarded. For a long period in our history, it has accomplished this goal remarkably well. However, geniuses though the founders were, there were certain economic developments that the founding fathers simply could not have predicted. The size, complexity, and power of corporations could not have been predicted two hundred thirty five years ago, nor could the overwhelming influence of money in the outcome of elections. As a result, the anonymous collective has seen fit to create a new, modestly edited form of the United States constitution. This new document, which will be strongly based on the original U.S. constitution, will be crowd sourced, and designed specifically to safe guard the rights and power of the 99 percent. In this new draft of the U.S. constitution, all people will be guaranteed the right to the basic necessities of life, and those who have more in society will not, by nature of affluence, possess greater influence over the democratic process. Instead, the will of the people will be the driving force in this new document. For this reason, the drafting of this document will also be a democratic process. In the description of this video below, there is a link to the first draft of this new constitution. Immediately below that, there is an email address, to which any proposed edits to that rough draft may be submitted. Together, we the people of the united states, can create a new form of government, in which the one percent is not more powerful than the 99 percent. In which peaceful civil disobedience is not met with violance. In which no man woman or child will ever have to worry about going hungry while millionaires and billionaires grow ever more wealthy and powerful. Together, we may create this change in the world. If you doubt that a determined group of citizens has the capacity to change their nation in this way, the collective would ask you to look to the nation of iceland as an example. Following the two thousand eight financial crisis, the people of iceland, using nothing more than peaceful protest, forced the resignation of all their elected officials, and drafted a new constitution for the entire nation. In what has now become known as the kitchen implement revolution, large crowds of icelanders gathered in the icelandic capitol demanding the resignation of every one of their elected leaders, the arrest of every banker involved in causing the financial collapse, and the drafting of a new constitution. Eventually, do to sheer determination and force of will of these protestors, the icelandic government met the demands of its people. This kind of change can happen here, but first we must have a clear vision for the future. The anonymous collective encourages you to email your ideas for the new constitution to the email below, along with any ideas of how it might be implemented. Let us however, make this perfectly clear, violence will not be an acceptable method of affecting change. Together, we can use the tools of nonviolent civil disobedience to create the change we want to see in the world.
  3. Until the day that this vision is realized, we have one message for the one percent.
  4. we are anonymous.
  5. we are legion.
  6. we do not forgive.
  7. we do not forget.
  8. expect us.
