Donnik, was born on a small settlement on Planet Vegeta, who was the son of a great sentinel to the Saiyan Hierarchy. His mother was a part of the a warrior breed where she would mother many children and raise them to perfect the warrior race. Hard work and orders is all that Donnik knew and knew nothing other than structure and totalitarianism in his life. At the ripe age of thirteen Donnik was enlisted into the main embodiment of the Saiyan Vanguard. There he would intensely fight and possibly kill his fellow young Saiyans to weed out the weak and perfect the fighting force. Only a year into his service Donnik knew only bleak slaughter when it came to subjugating the Tsujins or repressing the Alien foreigners.
	One night when eating among his fellow peers he heard whispers of deceit and deception that a commander was having the strongest of the troop executed in a attempt to keep his reign tight on our necks. Donniks’ closest ally and most trusted comrade Potaz a fellow soldier were asked by the few brave enough to assist in destroying the commander. Donnik knew only glory would befall him and seeing him come into power would make his Father proud. With this thought in his mind he covertly planned with Potaz and the others on how they’ll overpower their commanding officer.
	The decision of a one on one duel with Donnik would be the best decision to solidify his claim into power. On the night of execution Potaz walked side by side with Donnik and approached the Commander's tent. Upon entering with Potaz at his rear there was a eerie gloom about the setting. Something had seemed wrong and he knew something was amiss and Donnik murmured under his breath, knowing it was all a trap "It was over when I entered the room.". With a swift notion, Potaz struck Donnik in the back with a precise piercing blow of a knife. Now weak Donnik fell down and from the shadows appears the smug commander and with a mischievous grin stated “Plotting a assassination, are we? I knew your family was venomous.”
	Waking up in a dark cell with no recollection on how he was brought Donnik knew his life was going to become dust on a page of traitors and there was nothing to prepare himself. Trapped and alone he only was able to slump into the corner and focus on his sanity. When all hope was to be lost there was a sudden thud and from the ceilings grate which food was dropped in there lay a scroll. Without hesitation Donnik dashed to the parcel and began to read his only social contact since he could fathom. The brought news and from whom he did not know but the scroll stated that Potaz was promoted shortly after and had some forged proof that him and his father were conspiring to overthrow the entire dynasty. How absurd that this garbage was fabricated and with a notion of such disgust Donnik vomited.
	On the third day of his news there fell another thud and this parcel embroidered a different seal. A seal he had never seen before and the contents brought the only good news he had ever had it read “Donnik, I know there is much to say with little time to say it but word spread fast after your father's imprisonment and fellow Saiyans have began to revolt. There is little time to express how your attempt to forge the Saiyan honor and pride once more was extinguished by heretic means. Rest well for your arrival.” with that last word kept Donnik puzzled and that’s when he had heard the guards stirring and loud thuds began to ring throughout the halls. Soon there stood at his cell door was Potaz with two heavily armored Tsujins guarding the halls with plasma rifles in hand. “Got my letter, brother?” Potaz spoke with sarcasm. Donnik felt nothing but rage as Potaz unlocked the cell door. “Once more we have little time, Donnik. Trust me I did it not for you or me but for the resistance.” Potaz spoken in a soft voice one that Donnik seldom heard and understood that Potaz wouldn’t throw his pride in the wind if there wasn’t a actual truth to his words.
	Now from his cell and out of the prison Donnik peered over the horizon and saw battle smoke but not of the battlefields but from the capital itself. Placing his hand on Donniks shoulder Potaz motioned for Donnik to look and as he does he could see the remnants of the Saiyan Vanguard, now hoisting the colors of his father's crest.
