  1. I strongly believe that fast food should stay as it is and it shouldn’t be banned. Consuming it is often frowned upon, mostly by the older generations, but is it really that bad for us?
  2. First of all, many of us have heard that eating fast food is terrible, but the truth is, almost anything is – if eaten in excess. We perceive burgers and kebabs as containers of massive amounts of fat, whilst in reality, having one every once in a while would barely affect your bodyweight at all! Many chains (for example Asda, Burger King or Pizza Hut) have stopped serving foods with trans fats - fats which greatly affect your heart health by rising the level of cholesterol in your blood. Due to this fact, fast foods are starting to become much healthier and better for you, so that you are able to eat them without any severe consequences.
  3. Second of all, food bought in Pizza Hut or McDonald’s is often really satiating and much quicker to get than making sandwiches to work or school and most importantly it’s warm. Don’t you wish you had more time? Buying fast food not only saves you time, but eating heated meals, especially when it’s cold can let you become warmer and make walking in snow, wind, rain or all three that much easier. Not having to worry about making food for lunch or breaks will often let you relax before work, because you have just the additional 5 to 10 minutes to prepare. Not being stressed out is also really good for your health and it reduces the risk of heart palpitations and attacks as well as strokes.
  4. Third of all, there’s also the question of paying too much for their food. The cost of a meal is often high – as people, when they prepare food, often make a lot of it – they don’t make a bowl of soup – it’s usually the whole pot, which would often go to waste. If somebody doesn’t live with their family, why would they have to eat the same thing for 3 or more days? Buying chicken nuggets at Kentucky’s Fried chicken would not be much more expensive than preparing a dinner for a whole family – and they wouldn’t have to eat it for 3 days in a row. What else comes into the cost factor is using electricity, gas and water – you don’t use them if you decide to maybe eat at a restaurant. Consuming water is especially common in the kitchen – washing hands, washing the dishes, water to boil ingredients in, drinks, cleaning up after the meal and washing stained tablecloths – all use up considerable amounts of water, which if you eat at a restaurant are neglected, as it is not you who has to pay for them.
