Hey Allan I had some questions about dns performance.
1) Are there differences in speed between A-names and C-Names?

I understand C-Names cause 2 dns lookups, but if you already have the record for the referenced domain I'm assuming A and C-Names are equal.

2) Where should I redirect people from example.com to www.example.com. I'm avoiding people using example.com to make it a cookieless domain. so I can use static.example.com for static stuff. I am doing it at the nginx level cause it seems easiest but would it be better to do it at the varnish or even the dns level?
