Elena Shortwood is heavily scarred across her face and has milky eyes - you know, it looks like she's blind.

She came through town 5 years ago and saw you doing random small magic tricks in the forest or something, she took you under her wing for several months - staying around town out of sight of the rest of the villagers and tutoring you. She eventually told you that she'd move on towards Baerlon and that you should come seek her out whenever you're ready to learn more about being a wizard. She said that she'd be living outside of Baerlon.
