Animation Directors are required for businesses to setup an animation team.

As an Animation Director you have a set of responsibilities like reviewing clients and provide estimates of how much the work will cost for said project. As leader of the balanced team the Animation Director must provide leadership over the group and provide work for each member to do while consulting other managers like the Account manager and Producer. The Animation Director must bring the producers work to life with the help of his or hers team.

The Animation Director must have required skills for the job like being able to work in Maya or Max and translate software. Must be confident when talking amongst crowds of people to establish the goal of the project and the work. Must have at least two years experience as a Lead Animator or Supervisor, as the Lead Animator will have skills working as a 3D artist making people, animals, buildings, and scenario.
