 King Madres: "Another long day Caspian. You know you have an eye just like your father. He always could see a storm on the horizon before a wind ever changed on the ports. Tell me Caspian, whats a 21 year old do thats is raised by noble men?" King Madres looked out over the waters. In Kaoac, the waters always seemed to roll up as a scroll then disappear into the depths. It was late in the evening and 2 other guards stood near by. The King let out a sigh of relief. "...Catherine will be moving in very soon, im so anxious for my wife to be with me, as well as my lovely daughter."

Pyxxll: As he listened to the king speak Caspian would smile brightly, he knew his father was a great man and for the king himself to compare the Caspian to his own dad was an honor that pleased him completely. "it has been a long day, I only wish my father were still around to see the man, I'm slowly becoming in his foot steps and I'm not quite sure what I am to do. I simply serve under you as my father once did, my only hope is that I may earn the same respective title that my own father gained." Caspian glanced out as the king did, and enjoyed the smell of the cool salty air, as the king spoke of a daughter, Caspian glanced back to the king. "You have a daughter? I knew you had a wife but I never knew of a daughter. Have you seen her yet? How old is she? Is she my age?" The young man hadn't know of this news and was excited to learn that he could possibly gain a new friend.

 King Madres: King Madres let out a warm hearted chuckle, " You have became a fine young man. You are about your business in all aspects of being a Duke. Your father being away for this amount of time has allowed me to see what of treasure is still in my mist." King Madres knew that his father had decide to leave Abalone for answers. Why were there so many secrets in Abalone? And what really happened to King Quartz? The King stretched out his hand and placed it on the lad shoulder, " Well Caspian your father was the greatest Arch Duke any man could have asked for. I see your father in you Caspian. I have no hesitation about what I am going to ask you. So here it is. I , King Madre, would be honored if you would become Abalones new Arch Duke. I think that would be fitting for a man of honor as yourself." He paused ." My daughter? Oh she is about 10 now. I believe she has a little friend name lilith whom she is admit about keeping as her sister. I wasnt able to give her siblings, and the little girl didn't have a family so i took her in......" the king turned and looked at Caspian,"..What if you and my daughter became friends... yes and perhaps as she matures she will see you as the man I see you as. When she becomes of age... perhaps .." He rubbed his chin a bit examining Caspian.-

Pyxxll: As the King offered the position as Archduke, there was nothing Caspian could do but bow as low as he could and say "Yes! It would be honor better then non to serve you as the Archduke my Lord." Caspian's heart filled with joy and he stood back up straight. "I will not let you down, I'll be the Archduke my father was and honor your name and this kingdom just as he once did." He listened as the King Madres spoke of his daughter. "Ten? Oh well then I supposed I could watch over her the best I can as a baby sitter." The young man let out a small chuckle. Caspian's eye brow would raise as he stared up at the older man. "May I ask what you are implying your Grace?" He asked with confusion in his voice.

King Madres: " What I'm saying to you is that ... I want to make sure my daughter marries a man of nobility and strength. Someone who will be the backbone of Abalone and at the same time, show love and compassion to my daughter. What if i said to you... that when she becomes of age... I will give her to you?" he looks at him still rubbing his chin-

Pyxxll: Caspian felt a bit overwhelmed for a minute but smiled up at the king once again. "King Madres, you are to kind to me but the honor of having the next ruler of Abalone as my wife is something no man can refuse. I'd love to have your daughter as the woman to be betrothed too. I humbly accept your offer." Caspian once again bowed his head. "I know this may seem a bit to out of place of me but as the years gone by and I have seen more of you then my own father, I have started to see you as my father slightly. I enjoy being around you because you are so kind and a great leader foremost. You have giving me such an amazing privilege that I cannot thank you enough for."

King Madres: " Then its settled, you will marry my daughter when she becomes of age. And we will keep this just between us, until i speak with her mother... at least." He chuckled and patted the boy on his back. " Yes... you are as a son to me. And as a son to me why would i not give him the keys to my kingdom...sort of speaking." He laughed at himself and brought the boy a little closer " Come my boy we need to make sure everything is in place for my wifes arrival tomorrow."
