  4. It simply means beat the game as fast as possible. I will be skipping all but one summon and quite a few of the djinn.

  7. No. Only for another categories is totally necessary for example 100% because you need the psynergy force for get mars djinn shine on contigo.

  9. why is Felix called ~~G?
  10. It turns out that the “random” puzzle in the game (the Great Gabomba, Gaia Rock Maze, Trial Road puzzles) are all generated based on what you call Felix. I've discovered that you need to have the sum of the letter values of Felix's name need to add to 323 in decimal or 143 in hexadecimal. You can look up the value of the letters here: http://pastebin.com/Yb6h1Rva. Turns out, ~~G adds to the required numbers.

  27. Why you fight in some encounters?
  28. Well first because my party is in low level, second is so hard try to escape of that encounters, third I need experience for up level until serpent and poseidon at least level 15 and because how the route is very changed after of get the ship inmediately you must go to aqua rock where the enemies are so strong, this is the same for tundaria tower, ankhol ruins, gaia rock and jupiter lighthouse.

  30. Why you save game and hard reset after of use move psynegy in some places as in ankohl ruins, jupiter lighthouse or tundaria tower?
  31. Because if you don't use move in a specific position you could get different values in GRN seed and is so hard and risky be placed in a specific position for that because could lose the control of the RNG. For that reason I do save game and hard reset(RNG Manipulation).

  33. Why you get spirit ring and wild coat x2?
  34. Spirit ring because have the same effect of wish well and make easier the run and two wild coats because increase in 40 the agility boost it is essential to have more agility for attack first and impulse the fights vs flame dragons and doom dragon where you need a lot agility.

  37. Is simple because they are in level 28 and makes easier escape from some encounters and is the party than I use in the fights vs flame dragons and doom dragon where level 28 is enough.

  39. What glitches are used in the run?
  40. We use the retreat glitch extensively, the Trial Road glitch and the burst glitch.

  42. What is the retreat glitch?
  43. When you have less than 6PP and Retreat set to L or R, using retreat via the hotkey will result in retreat failing. However, the game will mistakenly think that retreat worked and that Felix is actually in the first room of the dungeon. Walking through doors or accessing chests will result in the game looking up the door or chest as if it were in the first room and this can have some strange consequences. This will often allow you to skip large portions of the dungeon and obtain certain items in the wrong place (best example is accessing Iris early: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFvWDkaU0AE ). Moreover, if you save and reset the game will load Felix into the first room of the dungeon at the same coordinates he was at in the previous room. This can allow me to get out of bounds and access a bunch of garbage data doors scattered around underflowed coordinates. TLDR; allows me to skip even more of the dungeon. Sometimes the game will look up a door that doesn’t exist in the first room, instead of crashing, then game will instead send you slightly south-west of Madra. This is used a few times in the run as well.

  45. What is the Trial Road glitch?
  46. After leaving Trial Road all your items will be returned to you (you leave various items in chests throughout the dungeon). An unintended aspect of this is that if you drop an item from your inventory, it will be returned to you after you leave the trial. Dropping an artifact item will result in the item appear in the artifact menu in the shop. I drop 3 Wild Coats on trial road and then buy them back in the shop – thus duplicating my wild coats.

  48. What is the burst glitch?
  49. A programming oversight allows burst to be used up certain height 1 cliffs. This allows for some hilarious skips in Magma rock (where this glitch is abused) including the ability for Felix to walk on lava.

  51. You saved and reset and ended up in a strange place, what happened?
  52. Either I used a retreat warp (you will have seen me fail using retreat before saving) or I did a sanctum warp. Sanctum warps are not glitches, it was designed as data-recovery feature in case something bad happened to your file (e.g. data corruption, getting stuck in a strange place). To recover the data and warp to the last sanctum you hold L+Start while loading the file.

  54. I saw you sleep-lock the Avimander and King Scorpion, I thought you couldn't do that?
  55. Aha! The GS wikis will have you believe that 40 luck makes bosses immune to status conditions (and thus only the Chest Beaters and Moapa's knights are able to be afflicted with status conditions) but this isn't quite correct. The 40 luck = immunity seems to hold in the original golden sun, but in GS2 an amazingly helpful guy by the name of VanishMantle (http://www.twitch.tv/vanishmantle) discovered that there's actually separate status vulnerability portions of code for each of the bosses in the game. What this means is that bosses can be weak to certain status conditions or be susceptible to status conditions despite having 40 luck.

  57. A great example of this is Moapa who has 40 luck, his knights which have 37 and the Avimander who has 41. It isn't hard to work out that Moapa is immune to all status conditions, while his knights (with 3 less luck) are rather prone to stuns and sleep. Very clearly, the Avimander is susceptible to sleep as well despite having the highest luck rating of all three. This illustrates that status vulnerability has other factors than just luck (otherwise Avimander would be immune) and the discovery that VanishMantle made.

  59. This game is harder than Golden Sun 1?
  60. Yes, although RNG manipulation is easy in japanese version still this game is harder for these reason:
  61. 1. In golden sun 1 you can escape of all encounters and in this game you must fight in some encounters for get experience and level up and because is really hard manipulate the game for escapes of heavy encounters in low level.
  62. 2. The manipulation sometimes can be a problem because get it is a frame perfect trick for each manipulation and might fail it sometimes that would be lose a lot time if not done correctly but this is a problem until after jupiter lighthouse.

  65. -Get sour instead of steam where is faster by 1-2 min.
  66. -Get sour for the new serpent strats discovered by zetonegi that is beat this boss in 3 turns using weaken and sour for drop 80 of resistence with both attacks to the serpent and of this way is possible beat him in 3 turns that is 3 min faster.
  67. -New route for gabomba statue for avoid the dumb rope RNG in this case is save game and hard reset with RNG manipulation in the next room.
  68. -General changes in the route after of get sour because apparently if you have different djinns from your actual route in this case sour instead of steam, where the value of GRN seed is different when leaving to world map so, you will get different encounters on world map.
