In the 21st Century Computing is essential for almost every organisation, ranging from multinational businesses to local schools. Computers have heavily influenced modern societies and technology is constantly evolving I believe that having a strong aspiring attitude will allow me to keep up with a dynamically growing market. By achieving a Computer Science degree it will provide me with a chance to improve my knowledge about Computer Science, a field which I have been really interested in since a young age. I have chosen this course because it will give me answers to questions I have always wondered about. The IT industry has always been a huge interest of mine, and I have been studying the industry attentively to find out how it works and how I would fit in. This qualification will provide me with the knowledge and the tools to pursue a lifelong ambition. I am an extremely hard worker, and this passion and fascination, drives me to excel myself and enjoy my studies.

 

At the moment I am studying BTEC National Diploma in Information Technology for Practitioners, it has allowed me to pursue my interest in computers and has expanded my knowledge further whilst also allowing me to use my own initiative and time to learn and take further studies into programming. I enjoy socializing with my friends, while keeping a balance between working and relaxing. I find striking a good balance is important and I have a good sense of knowing when to work and when to unwind and find time for myself. Most weekends I like to take a break and play football with my friends; this allows me to meet a variety people as we play with different people in the park.

 

By studying computer science it will allow me to do a job that I have always dreamed of. University will be a life enriching experience, where it will broaden my skills intellectually and better myself as a person. I am eagerly awaiting for the challenge of university, but also enthusiastic about meeting and experiencing a multitude of different people, cultures and lifestyles. After Graduating I aim to be a more independent and mature adult with the ability to do a job that I have longed to do since I was young. I intend to enter the industry with a developed knowledge which will assist me fitting into a great field.
