Sauromatia Report, Turn 24

As expected, the forces at Ulm were insufficient to budge the Ulmish army present.  The army there is falling back towards Hinnom, wiping out some intransigent rebels along the way.

The rest of the Sauromatian forces are attacking the barbarians of the Carcassus Mountains, and some self-appointed 'defenders of the throne', a magical seat of power located slightly north of the city of Hinnom.  Success is indicated in both endeavours.

Attempts to modernize the nation continue, with stellar cascades now operational and work begun on using undead as foot soldiers, as with the current rate of attrition they shall soon be necessary.

Witch King and Enarie production continues to support this, and a small gold reserve is developing, which, other pressures notwithstanding, has been slated for an investment in a palisade fort and another two temples.

Sitesearching is happening as we speak, and enaries freed from those duties should be ready for muster at the helheim border 4-5 turns from now.

Preparations are being made for gem transfer to Machakan coffers, to be used as seen fit.  Some reserves are being kept for domestic use, vis a vis battlemagic.

Other than berytos maintaining large groups of magical hawks along the borders for some unknown reason, no aggressive moves detected on the parts of enemy nations.
