How to get Nodus on a mac

How to install the Nodus client for Minecraft (all versions, it updates automaticly).

The video is recorded in 1.1, but this still works.

Just follow these steps exactly and it will work.

 

*** What to do:

 

Don`t watch the video, just follow these easy steps:

 

#1. Download: http://adf.ly/3yafv - official Scetch link now :)

 

#2. Press the WINDOWS-button on your keyboard (the flag) + "R", so the screen with "Run..." will appear (if you don`t see it, press Start and search for "Run").

 

#3. type in the form that will appear:

%appdata%/.minecraft/bin

 

#4. Remove the Minecraft.jar from the folder that will popup, drag & drop the downloaded "NodusUpdate.jar" to that folder.

 

#5. Rename "NodusUpdate.jar" to "Minecraft.jar"

[NOTE:] If it doesn't say "NodusUpdate.jar", but just "NodusUpdate", rename it to "Minecraft" (so without the ".jar" too).

 

*** On a Mac:

 

Find the folder named ".minecraft" (I`m not a mac-user so I don`t know how to get there, but I think you can find it if you are on a mac XD), go to the folder "bin" wich is in there and delete the "Minecraft"-named file. Now place the downloaded file "Nodusupdate" there and rename that to "Minecraft.". If you`re a mac-user and you think you can give a better explaination: tell me in the comments I will put it here.

 

*** If it doesn`t work (this works only for Windows-users):

This is an easy-to-use program I made myself (written in vb.net, you`ll need Microsoft Framework for it) and the only thing you`ve got to do with this program is:

#1. Select the .jar file you want to install (in this case the Nodusupdate.jar you just downloaded)

#2. Press the big button.

If you do that, all the stuff from this description will be done but way faster and easier :) I hope this helps for you guys...
