Languages I want to learn and why:
I am most interested in learning coding languages and exercising my programming abilities. I am open to learning more about the "back end" of things so that I can be more creative with my work and my website.
Ruby - a most common web development language
Rails - the framework for Ruby
Java - looks challenging and powerful along with being the most commonly used development language for the web
Apps I like and why:
Websites/Apps that most inspire me:
Paprika App: so many functions - saving recipes from different sources, timers for different phases of the recipe
Transit App: lists all public transportation options where you are located and the times for transit arrival. It also displays times of arrival at each stop.
MyTalkingPet App: because who doesn't want to make pets talk like a pro with an idiot-proof methodology?
