  1. Voice of the Monolith
  2. It should be made clear that all men are welcome into the fold of the monolith, should they desire.
  3. Prime Declarations.
  4. 1. All Men must come together, regardless of creed to uphold the ideals and practices of the monolith
  5. and to adapt to serve the needs of their countrymen.
  6. 2. One must understand the true value of peace, and the necessity of war.
  7. 3. A man must be loyal to those he serves. Should he wrong them, it is on his honor. should they wrong him, it is on theirs.
  8. Laws.
  9. Laws are made to keep order within, new laws can be added at any time, old ones revised, or removed entirely.
  10. 1. All things mined, gathered, crafted etc. must be deposited into the treasury.
  11. 2. do not lay harm upon the monolith.
  12. 3. Do not steal from your countrymen or state.
  13. 4. Do not assult your countrymen.
  14. 5. Interuption of a council meeting is forbidden.
  15. Court and justice.
  16. Any man or woman caught breaking the laws in the domain of the monolith will have a trial infront of present high council members. All criminals may have an attorney apointed to them, should they choose. The defendant (and prosecutor, should one be present) plead their case after which the council will vote. A present council member cannot choose to pass. The Grand Magistrate chooses the penalty.

  20. War.
  21. As isolationists we shall not stand against other political ideas or practices but swear to defend the monolith regardless of the offender's political ideas or practices. Our defense may be preemptive. However, any proposed decloration of war must be voted on by at least three council members and the Grand Magistrate. In the event of a sudden attack the Grand Magistrate may call Gitmo into a state of defense without such votes. All members are eligible for combat conscription should war be called.

  23. All members of gitmo must serve in the monolith, should they choose to take land elsewhere they are entitled to it. However Gitmo does not put this land under the protection of the monolith. All members of Gitmo are entitled to live within the monolith so long as they maintaine their duties. Every man is entitled to their own possesions after all materials have passed through the treasury.
  24. The high council.
  25. The monolith is not governed by one man but a group of men, The High Council and the public senate. The high council consists of the Grand Magistrate and any appointed Council Members. The public senate consists of all Gitmo members except council members and the Grand Magistrate.
  26. Voting.
  27. each tier of Council status holds a different amount of votes.

  32. In the event of a call to vote all High council and Public Senate members are called to the council room. After a grace period the person(s) in subject will describe what it is they think should be done and why. After this any Council or Public Senate member may call for modifications to the proposed action/bill .Once the case has been made the Public senate votes first. The High council second. The Grand Magistrate last.

  34. Initiation.
  35. Any new members of the monolith must prove their worth by going out into the desert, and returning with something of great value. This value is deemed by the Grand Magistrate or any members made capable of recruiting.
