  1. Starting choices:
  2. The game is gonna put you through a basic tutorial that will walk you through missions in the like, and during it you will get to choose your starting frame and weapons. This should help you make an educated guess rather than getting stuck with a crap choice.
  3.
  4. Frames:
  5. I would suggest getting one that sounds like would suit your playstyle, then experiment with other ones you farm later.
  6.
  7.
  8. Mag:
  9. Mag is a decent crowd control frame that excels at nuking shields and restoring your teams shield, but they're pretty squishy. Does not have much use outside Corpus missions (where you will absolutely murder everything) and void missions with enemies that have shields. Good for farming rep and leveling weapons later in the game on corpus interception. You will struggle getting there with just Mag though until you farm another frame for non-corpus missions.
  10.
  11. Abilities:
  12. 1. Pull: Ragdolls everyone in line of sight towards yourself and deals decent damage.
  13.
  14. 2. Shield Polarize: Makes all enemies shields explode around within a certain range and restores yours and your team mates shields. Doesn't deal damage to enemies without shields. Also, one of the few abilities that scales with levels as it deals damage equal to the amount of shields the enemy has.
  15.
  16. 3. Bullet Attractor: Puts a sphere around an enemy an redirects any bullet that hits the sphere into them while giving damage boost. Explodes if they die while the ability is still active. Good for bosses and heavy enemies.
  17.
  18. 4. Crush: AoE nuke. Deals magnetic damage, so not that good except against shielded enemies. Still, an alright CC Nuke.
  19.
  20.
  21. Excalibur:
  22. He was Warframe's original frame, and he hasn't aged well. Does have crowd control (which was nerfed to hell) and an AoE nuke. I really wouldn't suggest this one.
  23.
  24. Abilities:
  25. 1. Slash Dash: A dash attack. Kind of useless.
  26.
  27. 2. Radial Blind: Stuns everyone around him in line of sight.
  28.
  29. 3. Super Jump: You jump really high, lose aggro, and stun enemies in a small radius. Fun, but also kind of useless.
  30.
  31. 4. Radial Javelin: AoE Nuke, does pretty decent damage.
  32.
  33.
  34. Volt:
  35.
  36. Volt is pretty balanced. They have defense, crowd control, and a nuke. It's generally the suggested frame for new players.
  37.
  38. Abilities:
  39.
  40. 1. Shock: Throws electricity at an enemies and deals chaining damage and stun to enemies. Can be used while reloading, so it's pretty great.
  41.
  42. 2. Speed: Makes you and your team mates go fast. Good for speedrunning stuff.
  43.
  44. 3. Electric Shield: Blocks enemies damage and gives weapons that you fire through it electricity damage and boosted crit damage. Also increases weapon range and gives some non-hitscan weapons hitscan properties.
  45.
  46. 4. Overload: AoE Nuke, though it deals damage over time. Also stuns.
  47.
  48.
  49. Weapons:
  50.
  51. You get to choose your Primary, Secondary, and Melee weapons as well. Though, they're not the best options. You're going to want to level them to level 30, get better guns from the marketplace, and then sell the original weapons.
  52.
  53.
  54. Primaries:
  55. You've really got two options here, the bow or the rifle. Shotguns for the most part suck in this game (with a few exceptions). I would suggest the Mk-1 Braton as it's easier to progress through early levels with it.
  56.
  57. Mk-1 Braton: The Braton is the original Warframe rifle. Unfortunately it also happens to not have aged well. It will do alright at low levels though.
  58.
  59. Mk-1 Paris: This bow does pretty well against low level Grineer, but it's really bad if you get swarmed as you can really only take out one at a time. Your choice, but I would suggest going with the Braton until you can acquire a good bow like the Dread or Paris Prime.
  60.
  61. Mk-1 Strun: Shotguns in this game require point blank fighting to be effective, which in this game is suicide, especially at starter level. I highly reccomend not choosing this. Wait until later in the game where you have access to better ones and tankier frames (though still, not the best strategy).
  62.
  63.
  64. Secondaries:
  65.
  66. Slightly better options here than the primaries. The Furis or Kunai are both decent choices, so choose whatever suits you.
  67.
  68. Lato: A semi-automatic pistol. It kind of sucks to be honest.
  69.
  70. Mk-1 Kunai: Throwing knives, pretty good versus Grineer.
  71.
  72. Mk-1 Furis: SMG that's also alright against Grineer.
  73.
  74.
  75. Melee:
  76.
  77. You can choose whatever you want here as none of these options are the best. I would suggest the Bo as it's the best for coptering (term used to cover a technique where you use the spin attack to move faster than running).
  78.
  79. Mk-1 Furax: Fisticuffs, requires getting in really close.
  80.
  81. Mk-1 Bo: A metal stick. Good for coptering.
  82.
  83. Skana: Standard sword.
