  1. It was the feeling of something that she could not describe that alerted her. As if something was moving near her and she had somehow felt it. Immediately after opening her eyes, she felt something move around her. Seeing nothing as she keeps shaking her head, both adjusting her view and looking around. Until she feels it right in front of her. She stares, focuses deeper than before. Nothing can be seen, but it feels as if a wall separates her from the other side of the pool. She slowly pulled herself up against the rocks , getting out of the water but never losing an eye on whatever it was that she felt in front of her, despite not seeing anything. As soon as her feet touched the solid rocks she jumped up, using her hands to balance her in the air. It did not work. Not as she had planned at least. She landed on her feet, her arms on the ground in front of her, balancing on her feet and legs. Slowly losing her balance, trying to hold onto anything that in reality was not there. The moment she fell on her back she felt the presence move away, moving towards the river. It seemed to shift through her mind, feeling it move away despite not being there. Pushing herself from the ground up to her feet. Looking over at the general direction she could a glimpse of some sort of shadow. Almost as if someone stood at the entrance of the narrow path, walking towards her hut. It was not a person, nor was it a shadow. It seemed to be in-between as the human-like shape kept “flowing”. It’s feet, or whatever it had at the bottom of his body looked like smoke, black, thick and not actually touching the ground. The whole creature seemed to be non-existent, flowing like smoke trapped in a pit.

  3. At the same moment she realised what she saw her natural instincts kicked in, As if time suddenly slowed. Jumping of the rocks and onto the grass while her wet fur glistens in the rising sun. Landing on all fours, sprinting towards the narrow path as the grass comforts her paw, nature always being so calm despite anything that happens around it. Within a few seconds the had passed the farm, quickly giving it a look but nothing seems to have changed. Entering the narrow path, quickly gaining on where the creature should be: Her homeplace. By the time she reached her open place, closing in on the campfire she stopped herself. Bringing her upper body back up to have a good look at the location, seeing if anything is missing or out of place. Running into her hut once she realised nothing was different from when she had left. There too, after looking around, nothing had changed. As if everything was in her head and the shadow creature had never existed… but she knew it was real. She knew what she had seen.
