The Heartlicker is a strange, solitary Monster who is attracted to women that cannot confess to their true loves. Formed from demonic energy and the spirits of women who died without confessing their feelings to men they love. These unfortunately souls come back as skeletal feline Monsters known as Heartlickers, beings drawn to those with repressed feelings.

Though their true nature is far more ghastly, they appear to most people as normal, white-furred cats with playful, almost inquisitive natures until they find a woman who has repressed feelings. They'll follow the woman around until she is alone and stare into her eyes, paralyzing the woman and allowing the Heartlicker into her body. There, the Heartlicker will gradually make the woman lose her inhibitions as the Monster and she begin to merge together as one, though she will have no knowledge of this until it's too late.

Her actions before her true love will become more noticeable, her repressed feelings coming to the forefront as she begins to feel hot and bothered by him, going so far as to do things she'd never consider before, such as flirting with the man, speaking with him directly, being alone with him. These urges driven by her own repressed lust and emotions, spurred on by the Heartlicker, will only grow stronger in time until she confesses her love to the man and they have sex. Only then will her transformation truly become complete.

Her body will grow to match the desires of her love, though she'll gain feline features such as a tail, ears, and feline eyes. She won't even know that she's become a Monster, because she'll be so happy to finally be with the one she's loved from afar for so long. The two beings will become one creature, lost in the lusts with their new husband, and the inquisitive nature of the Heartlicker itself will come to the fore as the Monster will want to know everything about her husband.

Occasionally a woman possessed by a Heartlicker will fancy a man who cannot reciprocate her feelings for whatever reason, and should she not have sex with the man, the Heartlicker will be expelled from her body, and search for another host. It's said that they feel pity, or perhaps a kindred spirit for these woman who have lost their love, and will stay with them for a time, acting as very friendly housecats who will leave to search out another host as soon as the woman has recovered. Rarely, they may even take a fancy to the woman and possess her again, helping her until both woman and Monster can come together and find true love.
