Day 5 Novelember

twintaildfctsundere Nov 6th, 2015 (edited) 7 Never
  1. It’s a glorious day, I just asked Aya to a … date? Well technically it’s not really a date, it’s just two friends having fun. But I have bigger ambitions.
  2. A while as passed since I “asked her out” and Aya has gone back to studying.
  3. Shino and Yoko come back.
  4. “It’s lunch time!” shouted Shino happily
  5. Ah it’s about time. I’m starving.
  6. We go downstairs to the living room to have lunch.
  7. I see Karen on the way down and this time I’m the giving her a thumbs up.  I should thank her properly when I get the chance. She grins widely at me as we make our way downstairs.
  8. We get to the living room and sit down around a coffee table.
  9. "Aya made us lunch today!" Said Shino loudly.
  10. Looks like today we'll have Aya's home cooking.
  11. Aya opens a big lunch box with our lunch in it. The food inside looks absolutely perfect. Everyone is looking impressed at Aya's cooking, and we all compliment her on it. She gets flustered at all the people saying nice things about her.
  12. We finally dig in. The food is pretty good, definitely better than any of the stuff I usually eat. Aya is very happy that everyone is enjoying her cooking.
  13. "It doesn't have much taste." Said Karen and Alice simultaneously.
  14. Noe why would they say that. I am actually kind of upset at them both. Even if its true, whatever lack of taste this food has is compensated by the amount of love and care Aya has put in this meal.
  15. Aya is a little disheartened by this comment, so I try to comfort her a little.
  16. "Everything is delicious Aya."
  17. "Thank you." she said with a smile.
  18. My words seem to have helped. She cheered up a bit and we keep eating until we're all stuffed. It was a nice meal besides an unsatisfied couple.
  19. Study party is now over. And everyone is ready to leave. Shino's sister, Isami, comes to see us off. She's different than I expected, doesn't remind me of Shino at all.
  20. We say good-bye and leave for our destinations. Yoko and Karen go home but me and Aya have different plans.
  21. “You’re not coming?” Yoko asked us both since we’d normally go the same way from here.
  22. “Sorry, Yoko we’re not going home yet.” Aya said apologetically
  23. “Eheh, that’s alright. Have fun you two.”
  24. Yeah with the way she said that she definitely knows something’s up.
  25. We all go our separate ways except for us, who are now walking towards the park I suggested. It’s a really pleasant place, it has an ice-cream shop. We just had lunch but if we hurry we might still be able to eat some.
  26. Already at the park I ask.
  27. “Do you want some ice-cream?”
  28. “Sure that sounds good.”
  29. I just realized that was the first time we talked since we left Shino’s house. This isn’t starting well.
  30. We go to the store to pick our flavors.
  31. “I’ll have 3 chocolate scoops.”
  32. Nothing beats good old chocolate ice cream
  33. “I’ll have just have one strawberry scoop.”
  34. “Are you sure you don’t want a bigger one? I’m paying.”
  35. “No thank you. I can’t eat too much ice cream.”
  36. “Why not?”
  37. She gets embarrassed for some reason and mumbles something very quietly
  38. “I’ll get fat…”
  39. “What? I wouldn’t worry about that, you’re far from being fat. One ice-cream wont much difference.”
  40. “S-shut up! I gain weight easily.” Her cheeks gets even redder as she says this
  41. I must admit I love seeing her get all flustered, it’s too cute too resist smiling.
  42. I let her be, and pay for our ice-cream. With the cones now in our hands we take a seat in a bench on the shadow of a large tree where we talk for a while about the things we usually do.
  43. It’s a beautiful spring day, the Sun is shining bright and there’s a warm gentle breeze. Even the weather is on my side today. I looks like Aya is enjoying it too.
  44. “…Today sure is a beautiful day.” She said
  45. “Not as beautiful as you though.”
  46. Did I say that out loud? I’m looking at Aya whose face is blushing harder than I’ve ever seen her before.
  47. “b-b-ba-BAKAAAAAA!” Aya screams as she repeatedly slaps me
  48. Ah the sweet pain of tsundere slaps. It doesn’t hurt much anyways her hands are gentle and were not meant for hitting, I have come to appreciate her slaps and speaking of which I’m surprised at myself that I actually managed to say what I did, it was a nice line.
  49. Unfortunately her gentle aggression eventually stops and now she’s looking away from in embarrassment. I look at her and then at my ice-cream that is now laying on the grass. A small sacrifice to make but it was worth it. Looks like she almost finished hers as well.
  50. “So, where do you want to go now?”
  51. “I-I don’t know.”
  52. “Do you want to go watch a movie or something?”
  53. There’s a cinema right outside the park so it won’t take us long getting there.
  54. “Ah, that’s sounds nice.” Looks like she’s back to normal “What movie are we watching.”
  55. “Hmmm … I don’t know. We can decide when we get there.”
  56. She seems ok with this and we go to the cinema to see what movies are on display.
  57. There’s some options, although most are crappy rom-coms. I remember seeing somewhere that scary movies are the best option in a date because she’ll hold on to you and something about heartbeats. I think I’ll go with that.
  58. “How about Lov…”
  59. “Two tickets to Haunted Demons of Evil Darkness please!”
  60. Oops I think I interrupted Aya mid-sentence.
  61. “Here you go.” Said the ticket lady
  62. “Eeeeh…”
  63. “What?”
  64. “W-why are we watching a horror movie?”
  65. “Come on, it’ll be fun.”
  66. “Scary movies aren’t fun. And I heard that one is really scary.”
  67. She’s scared before the movie even started.
  68. “Come on Aya the movie is about to start. We don’t want to miss it right.”
  69. We go inside and Aya is now shaking a little. I hope this was a good idea. It’s just a movie can’t really be that bad.
  70. The movie is starting, I’m eating some popcorn from a big bucket it bought and I put it next to her asking if she wants some. She tries to take some but her hands are shaking so much she drops most of them before reaching her mouth.
  71. Oh it’s an abandoned house, spooky. A group of hiking teenagers are going to rest there. Looks like the black guy is going in first, I can tell where this is going. He’s looking around, only his footsteps can be heard when suddenly a nasty demon with its head backwards bites his head off.
  72. Aya lets out a loud “Kyaa” at this jump scare.
  73. Apparently the other teens didn’t hear the awfully loud screams and go inside anyways.
  74. After a few more teens get what was obviously coming to them (I’ll admit I was startled a few times) I feel something clutching on my arm, I get small heart attack and then see that Aya is now holding on to me. She’s grabbing it tight and sitting very closely to me. Looks like whatever I watched was right. This is a very good feeling it’s the first we’re physically close like this.
  75. I stay a while appreciating this moment and get distracted from the movie. Oh no where did that demon go? I don’t know what to expect now, it could come at any time now from anywhere.
  76. However I can’t look scared in front of Aya that’s the whole point of watching a scary movie. It’s not like it’s been that scary until now, I mean I… OH CRAP IT’S THAT DAMN DEMON. I DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING.
  77. I’m making a huge effort not to move too much and make brave face even though I’m shitting my pants.
  78. Aya looks at me like she’s about to cry
  79. “C-c-can we go now.”
  80. I just nod so she doesn’t notice my terrified voice. We get up and out of the movie theater. That movie was longer than I thought, the Sun is already setting.
  81. “That … was horrible…” Aya said while grasping for air
  82. “Nah, that wasn’t scary at all … eheh…”
  83. That didn’t sound convincible at all.
  84. We sit down for a bit until we’re a bit calmer.
  85. “It’s getting late, we should go home.” Said I
  86. “We should” Aya replied
  87. And so we do. I wish it could’ve lasted longer. Just being with her still my heart race. I wish I could always be with her, but sadly we reach my house and it’s time for today’s farewell.
  88. “So here we are. I’ll see you Monday I guess.”
  89. “Right”
  90. I’m about to say bye but she still wants to say something.
  91. “Hey Anon.”
  92. “Yes?”
  93. “I had a great time today. Thank you.”
  94. “I had fun too.”
  95. “Hey Anon.
  96. “Why did you want us to go out today?”
  97. Where did that come from? How do I answer to that? I can’t lie to her now. I asked her out because I like her. I can’t hide anymore. I need to tell her and it’s now or never.
  98. “I-I asked you out today because … because I like you Aya. I like you and I’ve liked you since the day we met but I was too afraid to tell you. So I asked you out hoping to get closer to you … so maybe you’d like me as well.”
  99. I said it, I finally said it.
  100. Aya is looking at me straight in the eyes like she doesn’t know how to react to what I just said.
  101. I’m looking into her eyes as well. What will her answer be? I can only wait for it and hope for the best.
