- hey guys, suspense here. Ground is a completely new type to me, and I've had no experience using it outside of this challenge. Whenever I think of ground types I think of the same 6 pokes with similar sets slapped together. So I wanted to make a team that was a little different from that and still worked together nicely. The ccgn1 core required garchomp and seismitoad to be used, which was great for me because I love seismi, and garchomp is already needed on ground. Seismi <3. Anyways, here's the team. :]

- So the team is kinda bulky offense. Will usually lead with lum berry garchomp to begin boosting with swords dance if I know what my opponent will lead with. Dugtrio just revenge kills and can memento to soften things that may have set up. Seismitoad is great against water and does much better than gastrodon imo. Specs grass knot and earth power is just great. Hippowdon is there to get up sand >.>. I banded excadrill to deal as much damage as possible, allowing it to kill bug, water, psychic, and some dragon teams with ease. Now for the star of the team... Mega camerupt! It's purpose is to stop zard-y, volcarona, some steel cores that the team can't really handle, and to just hit things extremely hard with sheer force boosted fire blast.
- Now for the team's threats. Greninja is probably the #1 threat to the team. If it runs ice beam + surf + grass knot you might as well forfeit and save some time. Fighting teams with breloom and keldeo do a lot to the team and I'll have to predict throughout the entire match to win. Flying teams with gliscor and zapdos also does quite a bit. Sp def zapdos takes a scald from seismitoad and gliscor absorbs any physical move I use. Mega metagross with grass knot and ice punch hits the team very hard and really stops the momentum. And ludicolo just destroys me. ._.
