The following Pokémon are banned from common use on grounds of in-game imbalance and overcentralisation - or, to be blunter, "overpoweredness":

          ~Blaziken
          ~Darkrai
          ~Deoxys-Attack
          ~Deoxys-Normal
          ~Dialga
          ~Genesect
          ~Mega Gengar
          ~Giratina (both formes)
          ~Groudon
          ~Ho-oh
          ~Mega Kangaskhan
          ~Kyogre
          ~Kyurem-W (note that Kyurem-B, and the regular "solo" forme of Kyurem is legal)
          ~Mega Lucario
          ~Lugia
          ~Manaphy
	  ~Mega Mawile
          ~Mewtwo
          ~Palkia
          ~Rayquaza
          ~Reshiram
          ~Shaymin Sky Forme (note that the regular Shaymin is legal)
          ~Xerneas
          ~Yveltal
          ~Zekrom

*All* other Pokémon not listed are legal.
Legendary trios, one-time field Pokémon, roaming legendaries, Deoxys-D, Deoxys-S, and event-only Pokémon *are* legal unless noted above.
