- Follow this shit or I'll kick your ass from the game:
- -----------------------------------------------------
- -Keep it fantasy. No M1 Abrams or EVA units, for example.
- -Original characters only. For example, no Kirito. At all.
- -No using old character sheets. New characters only. Obviously
- characters carry across adventures/sessions so people can level
- up, I just don't want you using characters from old sessions
- (Sessions without me present). Exception to this rule is if the
- previous characters made absolutely no progress.
- -There is no "Main Character," so don't argue about who the MC is.
- We're playing as a party, and nobody is more important than anyone
- else, in terms of story. Try not to go off and make a decision on
- your own if it's super important, although there's nothing stopping
- you...
- -Never split up the party. Ever. Fucking ever. It's an absolutely
- terrible idea and it ALWAYS ends the session terribly. Don't leave
- anybody out of the game, or people will get salty and quit. Plus it's
- easier to manage. This only counts when adventuring, you can split up
- and do whatever the hell you want in town, as long as you don't
- progress the story or do anything super important.
- -You are allowed to do crazy/stupid things, for a personal example
- of what I mean: You may disintegrate an innocent horse merchant, burn
- down his house, steal a horse and murder the rest, then steal his
- wallet and go on an adventure. The idea is that you can do whatever
- the hell you want, as long as it works with your alignment.
- -You are not allowed to: Do the previously mentioned shit in any way
- shape or form to your party, so long as it "harms" another party member.
- I'm trying to keep the game healthy so people don't mindlessly slaughter
- each other for no reason, or cause extreme misfortune to someone else.
- You can still fuck with you friends, you just have to clear it with me
- first, so I can decide if it's "healthy" enough. *Edit, don't ask someone
- to kill you in your sleep. Or shit like that.
- -The DM MUST be able to improvise. For example, if the party accidentally
- completely refuses to go down the quest line, the DM must find a way
- to get the party back on track, while remaining subtle about it so
- as not to break immersion (if there is any). For example, if the party
- refuses to answer calls from their mobile rune-phone, the DM should send
- another NPC to attempt to get the party on track. That being said, it's
- the player's job to involve themselves in the adventure.
- -No "declining" important quests. Simply put, if a dragon attacks your
- home town, you probably SHOULDN'T run away from it, but you can. The DM
- will force your way back into it, regardless, which is why declining isn't
- really an option. Sure, you can say "no," but you're gunna take that shit
- up the ass anyway.
- -(This rule used to be the "voice only" rule, that being said it was
- fairly controversial, therefore some modifications have been made to it)
- The sissy bitches of the group won't do voice only because of "muh immersion"
- and "but it would be too confusing !!!! (which it wouldn't, I know from
- experience)," so I've come to the conclusion that OOC will be in voice call,
- and IC will be in chat. Whispers must be sent in steam or skype private chat,
- doesn't really matter which. If we use skype chat to talk IC, all players must change
- each other's nicknames to their character names. Side note, I don't want to
- sit in a dead-ass call while everyone types to each other, so please frequent
- OOC chat.
- -No memes
- -We use roll20 because everyone but me is afraid of cheaters.
- -----------------------------------------------------
- This is subject to change, and I can make changes on the spot
- if I forgot something important. Otherwise, just remember this
- shit is for fun. Try not to do anything that ruins the fun for
- anyone. I'm not trying to be a stuck-up prick, I'm just trying
- to keep the game fun for everyone playing. Ask if anything is
- questionable. It's DND so you don't have to ask about everything,
- just shit that's super shady.
