  1. It was night time for the loud house. Things were about tidy and quiet as it can be. Lori and Leni, were the only two awake. They were at no end in their argument.
  2.
  3. "Leni, I swear! Sometimes I can't believe half of the things you do."
  4.
  5. "Don't, go acting like you're all like the perfect like you did nothig wrong. Oh I'm Lori and I'm too good for my sister when I'm with Bobby and his friends."
  6.
  7. "Leni, you are just jealous I have a boyfriend and can actually keep one." Lori gave Leni a smug look with her arms crossed.
  8.
  9. Leni almost says nothing. She stutters and tries of thinking of a comeback. With a huff, she takes her phone and began to type. Lori Stands there waiting
  10.
  11. "Sorry, That was my boyfriend."
  12.
  13. "Yeah, real cute Leni. Who's your new boyfriend? Your math teacher?
  14.
  15. Leni was now lost for words. Feeling with a strain of frustration, she thought best end the argument and ignore Lori. Looking to her bed, she remembered her pills. She took them out the top drawer and tried prying them open.
  16.
  17. "Hey Leni, is Mr. Maverick the kind of nice guy to bring you flowers? Or is he the type to lock lips with you before class?"
  18.
  19. Leni threw the bottle at Lori, which she managed to dodge.
  20.
  21. "Nice throw," laughed Lori.
  22.
  23. Leni felt a snap in her brain. The feeling was alien to her. But she wanted to ignore Lori and sleep it off. Leni want to bed, hoping her anger would pass on. But to her dismay the entire exchange between her and Lori looped in her head. She thought of the words she and Lori spoke. How Lori mocked her with bitrer remarks. And how they drove her down to the teeth with fury.
  24.
  25. Lori being on her phone wasn't making sleeping better either. Her phone dimly lit the room. Strange how such a small light could be such a distraction. Leni's eye mask was always convenient for times like this. It always helped with the light problem.
  26.
  27.
  28. The morning light glazes through the window blinds. They shine on Leni. Her body shifted away from the uncomfortable heat. Her eyes slowly open. Leni let a soft yawn escape her lips
  29.
  30. Leni moves upright and looks around the room. Lori was asleep, with her head facing away from Leni. Her form can easily be seen with the blanket forming around her. Subtle soft movement come from quiet, almost silent breathing.
  31.
  32. Leni moved out of bed. Her soft body was warm to the touch. Looking at the mirror looking at herself, feelokg happy about her beautiful body. She took pride for her well maintained stature, keeping it well with only proper nutrients.
  33.
  34. Leni looked to Lori. Her body was just as mature as her. Although Lori had more curve and bust which Leni envied.
  35.
  36. Leni went to the closet. She wears her favorite aquamarine dress with white flower pedals that lie out the collar and hemline.
  37.
  38. Leni moves to her mirror to brush away the pesky knots. After a hundred brushes her hair was straight and styled to her liking.
  39.
  40. A soft yawn comes from behind Leni. She sees Lori sitting up.
  41.
  42. "Sleep well Lori?"
  43.
  44. "Yeah, like a rock," Lori replied softly. Lori starts looking for her phone. She sighs when seeing it lying on the floor.
  45.
  46. Lori spots Leni's medicine next to her phone. She grabs the bottle quickly and holds it out to show Leni.
  47.
  48. "Leni, did you forgot to take your medicine?" Lori had a nervuous look on her face.
  49.
  50. "Not to worry, I already took my pills last night." Leni took the medicine from Lori. "You think I would forget something so important?"
  51.
  52. Leni leaves before Lori could answer. The once ditzy blonde left the room and made her way to the bathroom. Leni left the bottle atop the counter right above the sink. She splashed water on her face. Taking a look at the mirror, Leni sees another person. One she hasn't seen for years. Washig her face with the hand towel near by, she looks at the pills.
  53.
  54. Leni pushes pressure and turned the cap openThe. Pourjng the pills and flushing them down the toilet. She watched them swirl down and disappear. As they get vaccumed away into ocean, a smile forms on Leni's face.
  55.
  56. ---
  57.
  58. "Do you have anything that rhymes with peer?" asked Lucy.
  59.
  60. Lincoln finished chewing his cereal to give an answer Lucy's question.
  61.
  62. "Cheer."
  63.
  64. "Something with more melancholy?"
  65.
  66. "Leer, fear, tear." Lincoln paused to think of another word.
  67.
  68. "Morning Lucy. Morning Lincoln," greeted Leni.
  69.
  70. "Morning," both Lucy and Lincoln replied in unison.
  71.
  72. "What's there to eat?" asked Leni, while rummaging through the fride
  73.
  74. "Nothing but cereal and a few eggs. I think Lori dibs on the eggs."
  75.
  76. Leni takes the last three eggs and a pan. Lincoln silently watches her cook the eggs.
  77.
  78. Lucy stops writing her poem and rest her book down.
  79.
  80. "I don't think I have the flow right now."
  81.
  82. "Don't be down on yourself Lucy, maybe you need a break." Lincoln puts a hand on Lucy's shoulder.
  83.
  84. "Sigh, you're probably right Lincoln, maybe later today." Lucy takes her book and leaves the kitchen.
  85.
  86. "Gee how long until she's going to be in that emo stage?"
  87.
  88. The question surprised Lincoln. Mostly because itwas coming from Leni.
  89.
  90. "You think it's just a phase?" asked Lincoln.
  91.
  92. "It wouldn't surprise me, in three or four years she'll be like Luna."
  93.
  94. Lincoln didn't seem to have any argument there. Leni walks over to Lincoln, holding an avocado, tomato and cheese omelette.
  95.
  96. "Leni?"
  97.
  98. "Yes, Linky?" Leni said happiy while taking a bite of her omelette.
  99.
  100. "Never mind." Lincoln walks to the sink to wash his empty bowl.
  101.
  102. "Do you want the rest? I don't want it anymore."
  103.
  104. Lincoln looks at Leni's omelette that only had two bites out of it. Lori walks in the Kitchen, staring at her phone. She only looks away from the smell of egg.
  105.
  106. "Lincoln!" shouted Lori.
  107.
  108. Lincoln looks to lori with a nervous look.
  109.
  110. "It's Leni's not mine."
  111.
  112. Lori looked to Leni.
  113.
  114. "It wasn't me. Eggs are bad in cholesterol."
  115.
  116. Lori looks back to Lincoln.
  117.
  118. "Lincoln, I swear, sometimes you are worst!"
  119.
  120. Lori stomped her way out of kitchen.
  121.
  122. Lincoln turns to Leni.
  123.
  124. "Leni what gives? Why'd you lie?"
  125.
  126. "Just having some fun Lincoln." Leni leaves the Kitchen with a smile.
  127.
  128. Lincoln was puzzled. Being both baffled from Leni's deceit and scared of Lori's wrath. He takes a look at the omelette. Still warm, might as well finish it.
  129.
  130.
  131. Leni walked up the stairs feeling giddy. As she made her way down the hall she heard the commotion of her two sisters. It was from Luna and Luan's room. When she opened the door a bucket of water dropped in Leni's head. The bucket was filled with ice cubes and froze Leni to the bone. Through the water passing her ears and the sound of ice cubes falling to the ground a sound of laughter made it through it all. It was Luan, slapping a knee and pointing a finger at Leni.
  132.
  133. Leni clenched her fists. Leni's eyes Luan intently. Luan's laughter slowly stopped when she saw the look on Leni. She took a several steps back before trying to run past Leni.
  134.
  135. Luan was not fast enough, as Leni was able to grab her just before she could leave the room. She held Luan down. Leni wrapped her legs around Luan's. She held Luan's hand's over her head.
  136.
  137. Luan struggled and tried shuffling her way out. But Leni held her down like a stone. Water dripped from Leni's hair and onto Luan's shirt and skirt.
  138.
  139. "Funny prank Luan. I have a funny prank too. Wanna see?" Leni smiles while staring deep into her sister's eyes.
  140.
  141. "U-uh, sure?"
  142.
  143. Leni inhaled from her nose. The grody sound of snot disgusted Luan.
  144.
  145. Leni slowly opened her mouth and lets her saliva slowly fall to Luan's face. Luan tried moving again. She tried moving left and right and pulling her arms out of Leni's grip, but to her dismay, it was hopeless. In desperation she called for help. Hoping someone will stop Leni.
  146.
  147. Luan's had let her cries turn for the worst, when Leni's saliva fall in her mouth. She gagged and tried spitting the contents.. Lynn looked out her door. A gasp escapes her mouth from Leni's display. Luna, Lynn and the twins were watching as well.
  148.
  149. "Stop, leave her alone," shouted Lynn as she charged towards Leni.
  150.
  151. Leni pulls Lynn to her, noses touching. Lynn was surprised by Leni's sudden moves, realizing her grip was stretching her shirt. With a hard grip and a stare like it was the devil himself, all of Lynn's courage drained and flushed away
  152.
  153.
  154. "Lost for words Lynn? Leni smiled and then pushed Lynn away.
  155. Lynn stood there clenching her fists. Luna walks to Leni.
  156.
  157. "Chill out Leni, you're takin it too far."
  158.
  159. "Go away. Or you'll get what's coming to you." Leni continued teasing Luan, rubbing saliva all over her face.
  160.
  161. Luna couldn't control herself. She wasn't putting up with it. She pushed Leni off of Luan as hard as she could. To her attempt of success, Leni looked up to Luna with a smile.
  162.
  163. "You wanna play too?" Leni moved up to Luna, completely ignoring her crying sister on the floor.
  164.
  165. Leni grabbed Luna before she could react. Leni began twisting her arm. The pressure of Leni's hand gave Luna's wrist a burning sensation. Luna tried pulling away, but Leni's hands were on her arm like glue.
  166.
  167. "Come on Luna, hit me. Doesn't it hurt?" Leni smacked Luna across the face. Luna kept her head swayed to hide her tears.
  168.
  169. Lincoln had just walked up the stairs to see what the commotion was. He gasps seeing Leni torment Luna. His brotherly instincs kicked in and he
  170. Begins charging at Leni with his fist in the air.. Leni looks to Lincoln.
  171.
  172. It was only seconds before the two meet. Lincoln landed his fist at soon at he reached Leni. The impact was nothing more then a nudge and Leni gave him a smug look.
  173.
  174. "Hold up little brother, we'll play, but you have to wait your turn."
  175.
  176. Lincoln slowly backed away. In fear, a heavy gulp and trembling hands radiated him.
  177.
  178. Leni let's Luna free. Luna rubs her wrist and slowly walks back to her room. Lincoln can see tears running down her face. His stomach began to ache, like he was expierincing anxiety.
  179.
  180. Leni was staring at her siblings. How distressed they were. Scared like they just expierenced the cold world for the first time. Leni had a mix of feelings with disgust and pleasure. She couldn't make out her emotions just yet. Like for the first time in what feels like a century of bottled up emotions. She fled to her room to lie down.
  181.
  182.
  183. Lincoln walks up Luan to help her up. Luan quickly reaches for a hug.
  184.
  185. "I don't understand. I've never seen her like this," moped Luan.
  186.
  187. The feeling was mutual. Lincoln helps Luan to the bathroom to wash her face. That was until he heard Lori call for him. He was just able to see Lori's hair and eyes from the stairs. Lincoln left Luan to see Lori. Lincoln moves down the stairs and finds the eldest sitting at the couch.
  188.
  189. "Okay, what is with Leni?" asked Lincoln.
  190.
  191. "She's off her medication."
  192.
  193. "She takes medication? Since when?"
  194.
  195. For a moment Lori says nothing. She takes a deep breath before speaking again.
  196.
  197. "For as long as I can remember. When I was five, she was always tormenting me. Putting gum in my hair, breaking my dolls. I remember mom and dad would always fream when Leni would hide Lynn when she was a baby." Lori took a second to remember. "She took things way too far and everything personally. When she was ten she got therapy and was put on meds."
  198.
  199. Lincoln stayed silent. It was hard to believe his own ears. Leni? A monster? It was like something out of a tv show. Lori was looking at the ground. She couldn't believe it either.
  200.
  201. "We got to get Leni her pills then," said Lincoln and started moving upstairs. He then remembered Leni was still in her room.
  202.
  203. Lincoln, stopped to think. The vents were his best option. He could just wait it out for her to leave and make his way inside.
  204.
  205. How long he would have to wait is uncertain. He wanted old Leni back as soon as possible. Lincoln moved downstairs again.
  206.
  207. "Lori, I need your help."
  208.
  209. "With what?"
  210.
  211. "I need you to distract Leni while I get her pills."
  212.
  213.
  214. "You asking for a death wish? Leni will kill us both."
  215.
  216. "That is if we get caught."
  217. Lori sighs and gives in. locking her phone, she goes up up the stairs with Lincoln.
  218.
  219. "What do you want me to do exactly?"
  220.
  221. "Just distract her, it doesn't matter how. Try to get her out of the room."
  222.
  223. Lori made her move to the door. She placed her hand on the knob. She looked to Lincoln and he gave her a thumbs up and made his way to the ventilation.
  224.
  225. Lori opens the door. Inside the room, Leni was using Lori's makeup. Lori's eyes twitched. She did her best to remain her cool and walked to Leni.
  226.
  227. "Lori, good to see you." Leni slowly turned to her sister.
  228.
  229. "W-why's that?"
  230.
  231. "I need your advice, would my hair look good with extensions?" Leni showed a cosmetics catalog.
  232.
  233. "Uh, sure I guess..." lori kept frozen as Leni matched her hair with her own.
  234.
  235.
  236. Lincoln made his way as quickly as possible. Every five feet he would pass the shutters that showed the different rooms.
  237.
  238. Lincoln finally made it. Lori and Leni were still in the room. The sight was not good. Leni was holding Lori by her hair. It was difficult, with Leni's head now mostly in view. He then spots a pair of scissors in her hand.
  239.
  240. Lincoln panicked. He looked around the ventilation hoping Lucy would be around. He comes across her room. Lynn was lying on her bed, throwing and catching a ball in the air.
  241.
  242. "Lynn,” whispered Lincoln
  243.
  244. "What, who say that?" Lynn jumped out her bed.
  245.
  246. "It's me Lincoln, throw the ball at the wall and don't stop."
  247.
  248. "Why?"
  249.
  250. "Just do it!"
  251.
  252. Without a second thought, Lynn threw the ball as hard as she could. The impact of the ball shook the wall. Lincoln quickly went back to Lori and Leni.
  253.
  254. Leni looked to the wall. She held back from Lori and leaves the room.
  255.
  256. Lincoln jumps out the vent and lands on the bed.
  257.
  258. "Lincoln you are a life saver."
  259.
  260. "Thank me later, just find those pills."
  261.
  262. Lori quickly checked Leni's bed stand.
  263.
  264. "They're not here."
  265.
  266. "Keep looking, I gotta go!" Lincoln grabs something and dashes out the room.
  267.
  268. "Wha-?" Lincoln left before Lori could ask.
  269.
  270. Lincoln made his way to Lynn. At arrival he sees Leni and Lynn.
  271.
  272. "Hey Leni!"
  273.
  274. Leni turns to Lincoln.
  275.
  276. "I got your purse." And with that, Lincoln bolted downstairs. He only assumed Leni was on his tail.
  277.
  278. Lincoln moved as fast as he could. He dropped Leni's purse at the front door and made his way outside.
  279.
  280. Lincoln stopped by the tree. He had only hoped Leni didn't see him here. Lincoln made way to the side of the house to look through the window. Leni's purse was gone.
  281.
  282. He made his way inside and for his own safety, he held a bat ready for any ambushes.
  283.
  284. Lincoln sees Lori walking down the stairs with a worry expression weighing her down.
  285.
  286. "Did you get them?"
  287.
  288. "I couldn't find them. I even checked the bathroom."
  289.
  290. "Do you think she threw them out?"
  291.
  292. "Very likely. I'll have to get more at the pharmacy."
  293.
  294. Lincoln sits on the floor. Hundreds of thoughts run in his head. His most feared and constant thought was his sisters and their safety, including Leni.
  295.
  296. "Can you walk there?" asked Lincoln.
  297.
  298. "Walk? You're kidding right?"
  299.
  300. "Do you really want Leni running around like this?”
  301.
  302. Lori takes a look at the clock and then back to Lincoln.
  303.
  304. "I'll be back as fast as I can." Lori made her way out the door."If mom and dad are home before me, twll them it was an emergency.
  305.
  306. And that was that. Now Lincoln had another thing to worry about. He quickly made his way to the room. With the door slightly open, Lincoln watched the halls like a hawk. He only hoped Leni will stay in her room and hoped Lori will come back soon and hopefully stop this ordeal.
