  1. (20:30:54) Blackjay had never been good at waiting. Truthfully, she had gone out to go hunting. Honest to goodness. But the scent of two tolerated and two disliked bodies pulled her like a leech to blood. Her approach was naturally silent and moved toward the stenches of their forms. Wordlessly, her motion stopped once upon the crest of the bridge. Whether a bad time or a good time - she was here.
  2.
  3. (20:34:34) Azilie turned that sour look to the King. "If not Lady Ena, then Miss Elesia or anyone else that had been present." It would seem there was still pressing issue with civilian faith in guard and council. And that frustrated the elf more than she could express. Arms were crossed over her breasts, stiff posturing that spoke only of burning ire and nowhere to release it. Or perhaps there was, with the click click of nails over stone. Refracting blue gaze turned to the bridge, narrowed as a hand came to rest upon hilt. "Be gone, rug."
  4.
  5. (20:35:29) Ja Lacaob shakes his head once to Blue, and frowns. "No.. not that.. Not that I trust anything Lani says.." His ears fold back, and movement catches his eye. Hound on a bridge. He scowls, and gets up. "You're in the wrong territory, ladywolf. Go home, huh? Pretty sure your master wants a tongue-bath.."
  6.
  7. (20:38:05) Exya's attention to the conversation breaks as both Azilie and Ja address the unexpected presence of Blackjay, wing shifting to cast a narrow-eyed gaze toward the wolf across the way. For now she remains seated, mostly because there's a liger right in front of her. "..Always prowling," she grumbles quietly, only to call out more loudly toward her afterward, "Go tell him it will be done."
  8.
  9. (20:41:18) Blue Hawk's right hand would cross his body as blue eyes would move from Azilie to the creature on the bridge- at about the same time as Azilie and Ja would take notice of her. His wings would give a tentative flap and his spark could be felt surging. The older blade which he heald at his side would give a dull red glow- as if begging to be released at the behest of its master: [Enchanted: 3/3 Currently]. For now Blue's hand would remain clasped on the blades handle. If the wolf were to do anything other than turn around the creature would quickly find Blue's form leaping off the balcony, and aiming to cut the creatures escape off on the other side of the bridge...
  10.
  11. (20:47:23) Blackjay stood her ground, letting the comments slide through her ears. She remained stationed, her muscles poised for Blue's inevitable attack. "See his true colors," she said, her body coiling together briefly. She would attempt to launch forward, her teeth aiming to form a quick and powerful grasp on any part of the man, though most preferably a leg. Since she and Blue were mid-stride, he had the weight advantage. Then again, she took down prey larger than him since the time she was taught how. Her jaws would make an attempt to crunch through whatever silly armor he was wearing (if any) for this encounter.
  12.
  13. (20:53:29) Azilie listened back to the others, from word to shift of posture, the groan of a chair pushed back over stone as someone rose and another moved with speed. Grip on hilt tightened, a soft creak of leather glove over the blue leather wrapping the haft. A soft toe to heel stride, one step forward, stop, brought the woman to the corner of the bridge, taking up the unspoken role of buffer should the canine decide to descend or jump. And jump the beast did. Leading with right leg in the direction of the leap, the woman took a long stride to not only intercept as much as she could, but to use the torque of her hips to aid the speed of her swords draw. A move typical of Japanese combat, it wasn't truly designed for the edges of European blades, what with the lack of curved edge. Regardless, weapon came free, drawn up and out to try and catch the hounds leg or belly in mid flight.
  14.
  15. (20:54:19) Ja Lacaob looks to Azilie before she makes a move in either way, "..Let them fight... They clearly have issues to work out." But he was too slow. "Or not.." ((Seriously, I'm .. that's all I've got. Ja wouldn't be passive but I can't bend for this. I'm sorry.))
  16.
  17. (20:57:56) Exya growls softly and stands when BJ makes her leap at Blue, though with Ja's slightly belated order, she simply stands at his side, tail lashing once or twice. With Azilie and Blue both already involved, there's no need for her to jump in as well, but she will keep her distance. "..So much for discussions and attempts at peace," she comments to the liger, gaze fixed upon the escalated scene as it unfolds rapidly before them.
  18.
  19. (20:59:33) Blue Hawk's eyes would flash as the creature would leap, and Azilie came in to fend off the creatures attack. Continuing his path wings would flourish and foot would plant on the edge of the railing. In a half twisted jump and flap of his wings his form would land crouched on the center of the bridge. Lunging after Blackjay. The eyes in Blue had gone from the kind person talking with Ja and Exya to the beast which had been such a terror in the castle. Tonight would be the day Blackjay died. Right hand still holding onto the hilt of his sword would rip forward violently. In a stream of fire his blade would be released. There would be no mercy. Whether Blackjay bit him, or attacked him Blue would take any damage that wasn't fatal- in order for his blade to find the midsection of the beast, and cleave it into the afterlife. [3/3 Release Enchantment: En-Fire]
  20.
  21. (21:08:37) Blackjay didn't have many good options. Then again, things had turned into a two on one as soon as Azilie had joined the fray. What she could have done was severely limited. First Azilie's blade slid through a portion of Blackjay's skin. That much was doable. The blade was seen at the last possible moment. At once, her attempt for a grip on Blue was abandoned. Moving as quickly as she could, her paws would touch against the ground, finding traction in the many crevices of the cobblestone. She would use the movement to dive out of Blue's direct path of the sword. Her landing took her against the rail, cornering her briefly. Shit. Blood trickled down the wound from Azilie, her fur scorched upon her scruff from Blue's sword. Too close. Before two heartbeats could happen, she fluffed up, waiting for Blue's next charge. For now, she would have to settle for dodging.
  22.
  23. (21:15:54) Azilie hadn't wanted escalation. She'd wanted answers, knowledge, understanding. Instead, the castle worm had arrived, and despite recommendation to leave, instigated. The soldier had little recourse. It simply wasn't in her nature to watch idly. Impact of blade into flesh was a pull as the edge bit into flesh, scoring, copper scent of blood assailing her nostrils. Whirling around, weapon brought to bear in defense, the woman circled around to the wolfs new position, a ahnd falling to a pouch at her side, reaching for the contents hidden within. Something was withdrawn, but whatever it was was small and dark. "Final warning, pup." Teeth were bared in a feral snarl. "Leave."
  24.
  25. (21:18:49) Exya takes a couple of quick steps back as BJ's dodge lands her far too close for comfort, wings spreading open quite suddenly with the intent to lift the teen into the air and out of range of the crouched wolf should she opt to leap at her next. Paws go to the chains at her hips, the slow clinkclinkclink of their blackened steel links quietly announcing her loosing of the coils. Every few moments, those fluffy wings flap to maintain her hovering above, watching intently, waiting.
  26.
  27. (21:18:55) Blue Hawk's wings would give a violent flap as his body would be propelled upwards and after the dodging Blackjay. With the table behind her, and Ja/Exya to her right- not to mention injured this was undoubtedly the day that the curtain would fall on Blackjay's story. Both hands gripped the blade, and moving at a speed likely faster than Blackjay's retreat he would leap at the creature. While Azilie spoke to warn the beast- Blue charged. Raising the blade above his head with both hands he would aim to crash the blade directly on Blackjay's skull- his momentum never stopping from his initial attack. This was a combination attack that was being unleashed on the wolf. [3/3: En-fire]
  28.
  29. (21:25:11) Blackjay would take some more slices. She bunched her limbs again and would lunge at Blue Hawk. Azilie's withdraw for the moment helped greatly. Blackjay would attempt to snap her jaws around the (more than likely) clean hit to Blue's jugular. He had the blade above his head, after all. If she got the grip, the blade would definitely meet its mark, but so would her fangs to his throat. All at once, she would thrust down with as much power as she possibly could, using her body that could destroy bones in seconds.
  30.
  31. (21:33:31) Azilie watched the hybrids descent from the periphery of her vision, listened to the jangle of chain. The wolf lept again. "Exya! Tangle the bitch!" The object in her hand was crushed, a soft crackle muted against the leather of her glove. Pushing off of the cobblstone, she joined the fray once more, coming in at an angle. Clenched hand unfurled, the contents arched around at the canines maw, nose, eyes. And the contents weren't pleasant by any means - a mixture of pepper, ground glass, sand and dried cayen. A mixture all sealed within a black egg until needed. Like now. If it caught the wolf, it wouldn't be just a burn suffered, but blindness, irritation, difficulty breathing. Blade would then follow through, a twisting of hips to try and bring the weapon up into ribs.
  32.
  33. (21:36:16) Exya growls lowly as she sees the wolf's limbs bunch again in preparation for attack. She drops swiftly back to the ground, meanwhile using the momentum to send the left length of chain (roughly 9 feet) in a wide and swift arc toward BJ's hind quarters as she leaps. As the chain flies, the motion forces the handle at its end to open and lock into place with a sharp click, revealing a slightly curved blade. Her intent: to coil the chain about BJ's lower half between ribs and back legs to snag her, the blade portion very likely to connect and anchor into the wolf's flesh. All this before Azilie can finish shouting her command, and should the teen's attempt succeed, she'll flap those wings back and give the wolf as forceful a yank as she can to throw her off of her bite.
  34.
  35. (21:41:03) Blue Hawk's form would not stop as the wolf would lunge towards his throat. Whether Blackjay was caught by Exya's attack or not. As the wolf's maw would come closing in towards Blue's throat an unusual move would be pulled- if he were human he would have been completely open as Blackjay had speculated. However his right wing would twist over infront of his form- underneath his arm. Blackjay's maw clamping down on a mixture of bone and muscle within Blue's wing tissue as he shielded himself from the creatures bite. It would be in that moment that Blackjay clamped down- that Blue's blade would come flying down towards the creature- and if it was pulled away by Exya's chain... Blue's blade would crash into the ground- before ripping upwards to split the creature in half from below... with his still moving momentum- If Either of Blue's attacks hit- he would be cutting off a good quarter of his wing... [3/3 Enfire]
  36.
  37. (22:07:58) Blackjay sure was having a rough night, though it was pretty much entirely self-inflicted. Blinded by Azilie's devilish mix (among several other things, mind you), she didn't have the opportunity to dodge much of anything. Exya's scythe-like chain would wrap around her hips and drag the wolf backwards. Blue's sword sliced through her agape bottom jaw, splitting it in two. Adding that to the slice to her belly and Exya's contraption at her hips, she was pretty much out for the count. Still snarling, she would either dangle from Exya's chain or hit the stones with all the impact of her nearly-dead weight. Blood pooled from the aforementioned wounds, her paws scratching at her face, as if trying to shove the bitterness from each follicle of her pelt. Her moves were sluggish and clumsy. She was laying on her side.
  38.
  39. (22:19:56) Azilie drew her sword back, and shifted, trying to wedge herself between Blue and the hound. "Stand back, Riskbreaker! Exya, keep her tight." With the canine on the ground, it would be simple to let the creature be decapitated, let it all be done with. But frankly, the elf was feeling vindictive, spiteful, furious. The beast was down, slow. She circled around with care, then stepped over the beasts shoulders, came down to her knees to straddle the wolf. "Let's see you speak with your master now." Gauntlet clad hand snapped around, reaching into the wolfs maw to grasp at the mass of muscle. Providing the grip was true, sword would come around, the tip sliding beneath the wolfs tongue, and up to just... cut.
  40.
  41. (22:22:32) Exya drags the wolf back a few good feet during her first attempt to do so, wings shifting back with the intent to do it again should Blue advance further. She is still on the ground now, simply using those wings as supplemental strength and force. "Stop!" she shouts fiercely to the Riskbreaker, a warning growl laced into the single word. "Do not kill her unless you wish to condemn us all!" She eyes him closely even as Azi circles, both paws holding the chain about Blackjay taut with its blade embedded into the wolf's soft underbelly.
  42.
  43. (22:23:08) SSC: (I was told this is a combat RP? No one will be joining, as I am issuing a TimeStop.)
  44.
  45. (22:27:19) Blue Hawk's form would remain standing. Blade heald firmly in his right hands as flames moved up its long metal shaft now planted into the ground. His right wing was mangled and hung limply at his side- a small trail of blood falling down from it. If Blue had been in a blood-lust it would quickly become apparent why. The surging of dark magical energy in his chest had been masked by the fire magic he had initiated. In the five seconds it took to corner and pin Blackjay it had activated. The pain beginning now to seer through his body. If Azilie and Exya had not been here in all likelihood it would have resulted in Blue's potential death if the fight hadn't been solved as quickly as it did. That being said Blue would slowly get down onto one knee. The smoke from his flaming blade disguising his clearly pained form. "Uagh......." his breathing would be heavy as left hand moved to clutch at his chest. Blue eyes only able to give the briefest of glances in Azilie and Exya's direction.
  46.
  47. (22:53:16) Blackjay couldn't really do too much, so her tongue was sliced from her jaws. If Azilie's hands were in the least bit slippery - from the sweat of exertion and whatnot, Jay would slip her tongue free. But if that feeble hope didn't stand, then the wolf would release her first whine in her entire stay of the castle as her muscle was forcibly removed.
