↝ IDOL RELATIVES / FRIENDS: She is friends with INFINITE's Woohyun because they have a similar sarcastic and sassy nature. She is also friends with SHINee's Jonghyun because they trained together in the past.

✨ GENIE ✨
↝ PERSONALITY: Some call her an attention seeker because of the amount of screen time she has on music videos and interviews. And she'd admit that she likes to show her face compared to other members. But the real truth is that she is the kind of person that talks a lot and shares her thoughts without her knowing it so it became a habit. When others talk to her, she'd usually reply with a sarcastic or sassy response but only because she can't help it. At times, she promises the other members things but forgets about it after a while due to stress and being tired. Because of this, it's hard trusting her. She also has some minor mood swings after many hours of practice. Although she can seem tough at times, she's really a softy that doesn't know how to express her feelings correctly so she keeps quiet at the most randomnest times ; surprising her band members because she's usually talkative around cameras. For example, if she goes back to the dorms after a whole day of practicing to find her friends on the couch watching a movie, she'll start to complain about how much she worked that day and how they were just sitting around. After a few minutes, she'd realize her mistake and apologize.

↝ BACKGROUND: Wengie was born into a hard working family with parents that pay more attention on their jobs than their daughter. She only saw them at the dinner table and even then, they were so endorsed on their business calls and texts. Because of this, Wengie felt small and invisible whenever she was in her house. When she turned 10, she mustered the courage to tell them that she wanted to become a singer. They told her it was a fantastic idea and paid piano lessons for her. They then started to ignore her again. When she turned 12, she told them she'd like to join a Korean entertainment company which they oddly accepted and sent her to Korea with her older cousin. Because of growing in a house hold such as hers, she wanted to feel people cared about her and would pay attention to her. This is the reason why she is the way she is.

↝ TRAINING DURATION: 9 Years - since 2007

↝ EXPERIENCE WITH SINGING / DANCING: After Red Velvet's debut, Wengie had started to doubt that she'd debut. She took a break in 2013 due to personal reasons. Because of this, SM pushed her aside from the Red Velvet line up. She'd been training for many years so she joined a dance team that performed on the streets. She wasn't what someone would say a good dancer was but she started to improve. The dance crew members asked her to sing at times so that they'd gain attention. And after a while, they did start attracting crowds as people took videos. These videos became viral all around South Korea, making SM more generous towards her way and giving her more opportunities. Wengie gladly accepted the offer and started to improve dance wise and singing wise in the SM building, alongside other amazing trainees.

↝ STAGE PERSONA: Wengie is usually a talkative person so the members let her do most of the explaining (which she gladly accepts). But if she feels like a member isn't having enough screen time, she'd shut her mouth and pass her micro phone towards their way. She also likes to hold the camera whenever they're filming a reality show or episode. But she likes to film those that are around her more than filming herself.

↝ TRIVIA: - She is a really good singer, but she has trouble hitting some high notes.
- She likes to do freestyle dancing in the dorms to relieve her stress after a long day.
