co general faq

- Chat settings are on the button on the right of the cha t bar.  You can join chat channels from there and from the chat settings menu as well.  The in-game chat, outside of Zone and Local chat, is shared across all Cryptic games.  This means that if someone is playing Star Trek Online or Neverwinter, you'll still be able to talk to them.

 

- To sell useless items for Resources, you will need to head to a Collections Officer NPC.  Discarding items in your inventory does not grant you Resources.

 

- Be sure to visit the Powerhouse if you're uncertain about any particular power or advantage purchase.  THis will allow you to try out the changes for free and retcon them for free.

 

- If you are a Freeform and intend to retcon with Resources, do so at a level below 20 as it will not be as prohibitively expensive as it will be later.  Alternatively, Respec tokens are available in the C-Store and are occasionally given out when massive changes to gameplay are made.

 

- You cannot replay missions unless they are explicitly mentioned as repeatable, or as a daily.  (E.G. Whiteout can be done up to 4 times daily.)

 

- Freeform characters: Remember to make sure you're using the right build type!  Bring up your character information 'B' and make sure you've got your build type set properly for what you intend to create!
