/r/Gunners will be hosting this to recognize the best of this sub-reddit through-out the 2014 seasonal year, as part of the event /r/BestOf2014, where all content and content producers for Reddit are aggregated onto a voting system. You are all free to vote.

The categories are:

* **Best Analytical Comment/Thread** - Analysing matches, especially straight after a match, can be difficult. So, which user has posted the best piece of analysis on /r/Gunners?

*  **Best of the Banter** - The Archbishop of Banterbury wants you to vote on the best of the banter, whether it be a comment or a thread, on /r/Gunners this year!

* **Best Match Thread Creator** - We are lucky enough to have users who contribute their time during a match to inform and enhance the experience of those on the sub-reddit.

* **Best Series-Maker** - /r/Gunners has few users who contribute a series of threads under one specific topic. Which one is the best?

* **Community Choice Award** - This is an open category for the you to reward a user who has offered /r/Gunners inspiring comments. Threads that provoke discussion, or what have you!

* **Mod Choice Award** - /r/Gunners has a list of dedicated mods that attempt to keep the sub-reddit together, while offering discussions on the Arsenal.

**What is Best of 2014, and how does it all work?**

Best of 2014 is an annual event hosted by a collection of sub-reddits willing to take part. It essentially aggregates all the best content on a particular sub-reddit, in this case /r/Gunners, and allows users to vote on it.

1. To nominate someone, reply to the appropriate category (which will be a comment on this thread) with their full username and a link to their comment/thread. For example /u/EFG http://www.reddit.com/r/Gunners/comments/2p6zzx/post_match_thread_arsenal_41_newcastle/

2. Upvote the replies to each category if you agree with the nomination. Make sure not to double-post a nomination, only nominate one person per category!

3. At the end of the contest, the votes will be taken in and we'll announce the winners. Winners of each section will receive reddit gold.
