06-12-15 Peridot

I have to say, this is something that has been on my mind more and more lately with more of the ‘redemption’ art for Peridot I’ve seen.
Honestly, it’s kind of creepy??

I mean in a lot of iterations talking about it, usually it involves kidnapping Peridot, and having her choose between death or going to the side of the crystal gems.

I mean I totally get that they want to protect the earth, and Peridot is something that could seem like a threat with her technology, but otherwise she’s not the issue??

All the Crystal Gems have done in the scenarios people have done is attempt to brainwash and torture a fellow gem.

If it were that, it’d be kind of disturbing.
